No upside for Americans. Why allow Thousands in from these very dangerous nations? It's an incredibly dangerous gamble at best. This action should have been taken years ago. The #1 priority should be protecting Americans. But apparently, some of our leaders forgot that.

No, I am not in favor of thousands of immigrants from terrorist nations. On the other hand, I am not in favor of excluding qualified and vetted individuals being let in from those places. Which is EXACTLY what Trump's executive order allows.

His order does both.

As he said, he wants a temporary halt until the govt "can figure out what's going on".... that is, until they can come up with a method of halting the potential terrorists while letting the good guys through.

Liberals hate that kind of common sense, though, but they have no way of arguing against it. So they are trying to pretend Trump wants to halt both terrorists AND good guys permanently.

The EO didn't even mention the seven nations by name. It's just a continuation of a policy that Obabble put in place in 2015 regarding those very same countries.

Let's put put on our big-girl pantsuits and look at the issue. Those states mentioned do not or cannot work closely with the US in vetting their citizens. Sure, Pakis and Saudis breed terrorists like rabbits, but they haved worked with us since 9/11 with us. Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Sudan and the like have no idea what's going on within their borders.

and just looking again the poll , it looks good . A couple of bonehead YES vote but I can probably name all of those boneheaded anti American voters . A moment ago it was 90.9 against letting savages into the USA so that's pretty good .
