65 times he appeared on CNN fake news, and almost as many times on MSNBC and other outlets. They fawned over him and prophesied that he would be the one to take Trump down. Up the the point that he was almost going to run for candidate for presidential nominee for the Democratic Party. Consider this the pounciest of the media’s constant “conservatives/Republicans pounce!” spin on bad news for their opponents. After having been reviled by Democrats and the media as a traitor for the past two years, Politico apparently expected Donald Trump and his allies to react to his exoneration by, um, pretending it never happened. The big takeaway from the outlet’s perspective is that Trump & Co. should have showed more “interest in healing or national unity” rather than point out that their opponents had engaged in paranoid conspiracy theories:

The only "uniting" that needs to be done is the Left rejoining the rest of the nation over here in reality. They need to "unite" their minds after the past two years of cognitive dissonance.
If the Progressive Marxist Socialist Democrats are seeking national unity with Republicans, why are they continuing with their investigations and not promoting national unity themselves? Hmm...., trying 'National Unity' with the Democrats is like trying to make friends with a crocodile. They just look for the best moment to strike.
Stop and think about it. If I was accused of something I didn't do for two years and had my name and my family dragged through the mud because the other side couldn't accept that someone as corrupt as Hillary Clinton lost the election you can bet your bippy I would be looking for payback.
On the other hand, After more than two years of fomenting national disunity with its endless stream of smears innuendos and lies, the mainstream media now thinks their target should promote unity? Why don't they begin the process?
