Police leaving their jobs

Yea we are and how the bad cops get protected by the unions we would be better without them protecting the bad apples. Not sure why you refuse to admit that
They are more protected by the cops they work with. If not for video, Derek Chauvin would be a free man. None of those other cops would've said a word.

Wrong again genius. Police are public servants and should be held accountable as such. But now we have left wing loons who paint most police as racists because of some bad apples in some police departments.
Just like Right Wing Crazies attack Teachers.

That is your opinion and you are welcome to be wrong and have it. There is no disputing that the police unions are the ones who step up and defend the bad apples each and every time. Get ride of the unions and we can see some progress in weeding out the bad apples, until the bad cops will be protected.

No, that's not my opinion, that is the facts. Of course the union protects them, hell who doesn't know that. With that being said, cops protect cops. You ever heard of the Blue wall of silence?

The blue wall of silence, also blue code and blue shield, are terms used to denote the informal code of silence among police officers in the United States not to report on a colleague's errors, misconducts, or crimes, especially as related to police brutality in the United States.

Damn where the hell have you been.

Getting ride of the unions would go a long way in tearing down that wall. That would be a great place to start

He should be free right now. He was following the Police training manual. He was trying to monitor the pending riot as well....often overlooked. He was a good Cop.

If anything, the death was Manslaughter at the very top end.

Same thing happened in Baltimore after Freddie Gray.

Difference now is they've done it in large sections if the country and made crime acceptable.

Anyone could have seen it coming after 2020.

When you get in legal battles over stupid things .. why would you risk the liability to become the next "George Floyd" officer? So sad that these liberal states have strict firearm laws .. those residents will use .. something .. to protect themselves?
No problem in being a cop, no problem in restraining someone, but you will run into trouble if you compress someone's neck for 9 mins with your body weight and knee.

I agree, it was manslaughter. In the UK, typically upto 10 years jail -

Do any of you think entry level police pay is OK? Why is it not at least 150k just to begin? Tightwad taxpayers.

I saw a tik tok video of a cop actually saying that. He also said, "if this was 20 years ago, we could just shoot this fucker and be done with it"
Always video interactions with cops!
Record and stream off-site in real time.
Bullshit, that’s just your anti police propaganda talking. The blowback they get is from the unions who challenge ever disciplinary action and make it difficult to fire the cops who deserve to be fired.
Bullshit. Turning in a bad cop is an instant career-ender and can be life-threatening. Just ask Donna Jane Watts, or Joe Crystal, or Adrian Schoolcraft.

It's not just the unions. It's a culture of Omerta stronger than the Mafia could DREAM of.

I expect you'd be the first to squeal like a pig if your taxes went up to pat cops more.
