Since when has being so anti government become so patriotic?
Since always. Being anti-government is pretty much what it means to be an American.

The T thinks Democrats shouldn't be allowed to make patriotic nationalist statements.
bullshit
Maybe, but the guy wraps himself in a dozen American flags and suddenly he considers himself an authority on what constitutes true patriotism while calling broad groups of American people commie traitors.
American communists versus soviet communists. Big whoop. Commie's commie and not an American value but rather a chronic political disease.
Thankfully modern medicine may have found a cure.
Most of the time commies are not commies when the accusations come from people such as yourself.
The empirical evidence doesn't support your claim.
Nobody's scared. We know you're a red.I've had a lot of fun during this attempted Red Scare but enough is enough, it's just getting retarded.

President Obama: "We need to spread the wealth around."
You don't get any more communist than that concept.
Do I think Obama is a communist? Of course not. Do I think he is a Marxist at heart? Yes I do. And the ultimate goal of Marxism is pure communism. The road to communism strips the wealth from the 'rich', transfers it to the government, and gradually erodes individual freedoms until the government is powerful enough to do any damn thing it wants to do to us. Marx knew that was necessary in order to get to communism.
Unfortunately, the draconian measures necessary to move from a capitalistic society to communisim never quite gets us there. And every single government that has taken that path, once it aquired the power, has never been willing to voluntarily give it up.
No. He's just not as rich as Romney. But a capitalist? Shit... how? Making a buck for a halfassed lecturer job and his wife's no-show job is being a capitalist how? Please post YOUR "empirical" evidence brip.

I think his record shows he is a capitalist at heart, he made some good money off of writing, and investments. Not a poor man.
Are you unhappy with the social/economic policies that are pushed by both corporate controlled parties in the US? Send that message loud and clear on Tuesday May 1st:Anyone want to celebrate "loyalty day" on May first? It's the anti-labor version of the international Mayday celebration. Many authoritarian governments have instituted similar May first holidays in an attempt to supplant the populist message of the day. If you don't like OWS perhaps you can counter-demonstrate by reaffirming your loyalty to the United States government and the financial elite for which it stands.

Right. The Founders in thier writings said never to trust government. The Government that is big enough to give you what you want is big enough to take everything you have...including your Liberty.Since when has being so anti government become so patriotic?

There you have it....Progressive socialists declaring their own religious holiday, to genuflect and grovel to their God: Big Daddy Big Gubmint.Allegiance to the Government? Nope. Allegiance to the Republic - yea.

I've never seen your brain yet I suspect you have one.

This cannot be emphasized enough as it goes to the very heart of American exceptionalism. The Founders risked everything to wrest this country away from an authoritarian government and put it all on the line to give us a Constitution that would secure our rights and then we, the people, would govern ourselves. It was the first and only nation in the history of the world to attempt something so radical. And it produced the most prosperous, most innovative, most creative, and most free people on Earth. . . .
. . .until. . . .
the progressives began clamoring for a King to provide what they could not or would not provide for themselves. And ever since we have seen the government taking over more and interjecting itself into every aspect of American life. And we are slowly and sure abdicting that great nation the Founders gave us in favor of returning to servitude to government out of some fuzzy notion that things will be better for us then.

No, the latest report I think put his and Michelle's net worth at something over $10 million. But the leaders of 'communist' societies all prosper mightily. They live high on the hog while the people are mostly consigned to limited means, opportunities, and choices.
Wanting prosperity and unlimited wealth for oneself while denigrating it in others is not a capitalistic concept.
