I wonder if liberals know that INCOME TAX IS ONLY 1 tax.. and that MANY of us who actually make a 'good living' end up paying close to or over 50% of our income in taxes

And BTW, GT.. I stated close to or over 50%.. and I showed 40% without batting an eye.. to show 'close to 50%' is not hard from there... and is right in line with what my assertion was all along

That's all Dave meant. This bickering over semantics changes nothing. 35% of my pay is out of my control and it's called taxes. I didn't name the deductions taxes.

Work some more on your financial background. $100 / wk = $5,200 annually, and assuming you're single, no kids and paid around $100 in state taxes, your federal taxes, would be -$400 (You'd get an extra $400 on top of your $5,200, due to the EIC)
