The February 28th episode of Piers Morgan Tonight, which featured an exclusive interview with Gus Searcy, the mentor of Jodi Arias suffered a yearly low in the key 25-54 demographic with only 87,000 viewers. The show is down 27% in total viewers and 38% in the demo from its debut in Jan. 17th, 2011.

Piers Morgan Tonight also had the lowest demo in its time slot and was even beat by HLN’s Dr. Drew (with 208,000).

Liberals get their news from John Stewart and Colbert, conservatives are interested in serious news sources; therefore, liberal dribble from a-holes like this are destined to fail!

I see you entirely missed the point in two consecutive posts...

That point being, the OP suggests a program's ratings are tanking, based on one show. And that show featured two nobody names that have nothing to do with politics, and really nothing to do with news. Which means, number one, the show picked a stupid topic and got the ratings it deserved, and number two, that your fantasies about political sources are just that, since this was not a political show in the first place.

No Replacement for Piers Morgan, Yet​

According to the Hollywood Reporter, CNN will not be replacing Piers Morgan, at least not with newly hired ABC alum Bill Weir.

“"Bill Weir was not brought to CNN to replace Piers Morgan," a CNN spokesperson tells The Hollywood Reporter.

This news comes despite a report from FTVLive last week declaring that the network is looking to excise the host from their primetime lineup.

“Sources tell FTVLive that CNN Boss Jeff Zucker is "actively looking for a replacement for Piers Morgan."

Weir is the second rumored replacement for Morgan, whose tenure at CNN has been marked by low ratings and long rants against American gun ownership. The same FTVLive report named Katie Couric as a likely successor.

Perhaps Jeff Zucker and CNN enjoy low ratings.
