He wants to be President, and that's his top priority. He also has to worry about his safety and that of his family.

But you have 40,000 hours of video footage, surely that shows an insurrection, doesn't it? The FBI concluded no evidence of an insurrection before the Jan 6 committee started it's silliness, yet the committee went ahead and flopped. Yet some on the Left still claim, "Insurrection".

And America has the same problem with the Right and stolen elections, yet no evidence, failed court cases and Fox paying out millions. Yet some on the Right still claim, "Stolen election".

Footage does show violence and destruction on the Capitol grounds and inside the hallowed halls. People have been arrested and prosecuted, and found guilty (or pled out), and have been sentenced for events in the footage

'Stolen' can mean a few things.

I do not engage in the broad arguments about stolen elections, and fairness. I know Trump's Campaign manager colluded with the Russian government. He collected campaign data/polls and gave it up to Russians in order to help Trump and damage Clinton.
