While American and Israeli leaders are already patting themselves on their respective backs over the reported resumption of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, the other party to the talks, the Palestinian Authority, is saying everyone should instead hold their respective horses.
Israel is already setting up negotiating teams, and the Obama Administration is praising itself over ostensibly "closing the gaps" that had previously seemed like insurmountable obstacles.
But on Sunday, two of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas' most senior advisers said it was by no means certain that bilateral peace talks would take place in the coming weeks, as claimed by US Secretary of State John Kerry.

Talk about pessimism on the Palestinians' part. Mind you, did anyone think they were really keen to get peace? They shoot themselves in the foot at every opportunity.

Yesterday, and the day bofore, rockets were fired on unarmed innocent civilians in southern Israel.
If we were a normal country, we should have refused any negotiations, just for that alone!
The question is will the world and especially the West learn? Israel already knows. It needs to annex the West Bank and get this over with. Initially there may be some faux outrage and blow-back for a few years and then the world will accept it as reality and see that things are better this way, even for the Palestinians in the West Bank, and move on.Article from Washington Post shining the light on the "Peace Process". What "thigngs" are Israelis doing to "provokle" those poor, harmless "palestjia#s"?
"housses in the wst bank!!!!" Why aren't Jews allowed to build "housses in wst bank!!!!" when they won the land in a defensive war and it was supposed to be part of Israel to begin with!!!!!!!
Meheheheh! Another funny response. West Bank was supposed to be part of Israel pre 1948. And after 181 the Arabs attacked and lost. So what, they want a do over? Oh, let me guess, this time they PROMISE to behave. I mean why not, they have such a good report card? I'd give them a straight A for terrorism."housses in the wst bank!!!!" west banbk wasnt supposed to be part of israel, dumbass
un resolution 181 gave the west bank and more land to the arabs not the zionists!!
And call the West Bank by it's rightful name that it had for 3000 years before Arab invaders changed it's name in 1948: Judea and Samaria of ancient Israel.

sorry dumbass but the land was called PALESTINE for much longer than it was called Isael or Judea or Judah.
Palestine from 135 ad to 1948 is more than 1,800 years.
Israel Judah and Judea for only 900 years/
so the correct and longest name is PALESTINE!!!!
now get back to the topic of peace talks antic which the zionists are doing right now by continuting the settlement buiding in the west bank.

Please...do you have to resort to name calling? Bottom line...arabs squatted on land that wasn't theirs, the rightful owners kicked their butts out and now they're throwing a hissy fit because the evil Jews won't play nice.
Now, Gardener, there are those of us who believe what the British officials in the area were reporting to Winston Churchill -- that the Arabs were coming in droves from their poverty-stricken countries for jobs that the Jews had for them. Why do you think the Hispanic continually cross the southern border of the U.S. and why do you think the Muslims are flooding into Europe? However, we do realize that there were some Arabs in the area under the Ottoman Empire, and they were tenant farmers of the rich Turkish landowners, Do you really think that tenant farmers get that rich that they are able to buy their own land? No doubt the Arab world was unhappy when they found out that the Turks did sell some land to the Jews. But don't forget -- the Turks are not Arabs.Please...do you have to resort to name calling? how can you "squat" on land for 1,300 years??????????????
