One thing you tea baggers have never understood is Civics 101.

You felt since there was a majority of Republicans in both houses--you could control everything--but you forgot about was the VETO pen.

1. You can not DEFUND Obamacare and leave millions of people that were forced onto it without insurance overnight. Of course Republicans in the house could do that, but the odds of any Republican winning an election for dog catcher afterwards would be zero to none.
2. You can not threaten to shut at every opportunity. Been there done that it only backfires on Republicans.
3. It does no good to read Green Eggs & Ham from the Senate floor over Obamacare.
4. It does no good to send up 30 different house bills to repeal Obamacare with Obama sitting in the oval office.

This is politics 101--and even though Republicans were in charge of the House and Senate Obama is still sitting in the Oval office with a veto pen.

As far as Paul Ryan. There is no one that knows the budget or Obamacare as well as he does. He is the ONLY one in the House that honestly earns a paycheck.

If Paul Ryan knows Obamacare as well as you think, then repealing it would be tantamount. Most of the real damaging aspects of Obamacare were pushed back till after this election. We ain't seen nuthin yet. Insurers know it is unsustainable and are opting out.
It is a tax. And even at more than 3 trillion a year, it is going to get much much higher. How much more can you afford to share out of what is left of your paycheck? Provided you still have a job....

We had the best healthcare in the world. And contrary to the hype, everyone was covered. Those who could not afford an insurer got government cards. Emergency rooms were not allowed to turn anyone away. They can now, in fact if you have to return to the hospital and they actually let you in the door, they are fined exorbitant amounts. They are also fined for having too many patients, so what they do is switch the patients over from inpatient, to observed out patient, and you get the bill. They don't warn you, so if you are in the hosp. check or have a family member ask every day if you are still classified as inpatient. And video it in case they tell you, "yes, don't worry about it". Healthcare has become a tricky bitch.

The person with the most knowledge about healthcare would be Dr. Ben Carson. If Trump is elected he should convince him to fix what wasn't broken in the first place, and hold insurance companies accountable for affordable care, as well they should be. They should compete for our business instead of us begging for crumbs from their table @$5,000 a deductible.
