Michele Bachmann is leaving Congress. That’s bad news for the country and good news for Democrat dirt bags. She is one of the good ones. I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for Michele:

Now if only those long serving senators would take the hint.

Never fear. There are plenty of brainless loons to take her place.

And, more will be crawling out from under their rocks for the upcoming Clown Car Race.

The guy who lost to Michele Bachmann in 2012, Jim Graves, is running against her in 2014 even though she’s not running. How dumb is that. Of all the dumb things he said this one takes the cake:

Quite frankly, there's no room for a theocracy. We're a democracy. From that standpoint, I do have a smile on my face.

Jim Graves On Michele Bachmann Decision: 'This Is A Good Day For America' (VIDEO)

That from a guy whose party uses the IRS against everybody who supports Michele Bachmann.

Michele Bachmann opposed a Socialist theocracy. She stood for limited government and individual liberties. Graves is saying she wanted a Christian theocracy of some kind because of her religious beliefs.

Note that he implies democracy is the opposite of theocracy. It isn’t. Democracy is the opposite of the limited government this country’s CHRISTIAN Founders envisioned. They all hated democracy.

I don’t know who Graves will run against next year. Whoever it is should point that Graves is running against America’s Founding Fathers, not Michele Bachmann.

Incidentally, Graves started out as a teacher; so his political beliefs are rooted in the parasite class’ largest and most influential bloc of parasites. Irrespective of what he says today he must hate Michele because she said she would go over to the Department of Education and turn out the lights. That’s a better idea today than it was when she it during the presidential primaries because of Common Core and two UN treaties that still on the shelf: CRPD (Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities) and the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child. The CRPD was nearly brought up for ratification with the help of RINO:

This treaty crushes U.S. sovereignty

Electing Graves to the House could very well be a stepping stone to the Senate where he could vote to ratify UN treaties somewhere down the line.

Also, Graves coming from the parasite class makes me wonder how many tax dollars helped him get his hotel chain up and running. Good for him if he did it on his own. The problem is: No Democrat can be believed about anything.

Finally, whenever Democrats say “This is a good day for America.” they mean this is a good day for surrendering America’s sovereignty to global government. That one position is the sum of the Democrat party’s foreign policy agenda. A Socialist theocracy is the sum of the Democrat party’s domestic agenda.

Poor rw's.

There's not one word they can say in defense of this incredibly stupid twit who is quitting mid-term because she's caught and her staff has turned on her.

Funny stuff.

A nice piece by Doug Patton gives a brief synopsis of Michele’s strength and love of the Constitution. Comparing Michele to filthy lying harridans like Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi amounts to shooting fish in a barrel. The real test is to compare her to the Chicago sewer rat. Now that Hussein & Company are scrambling like cockroaches when a light is turned on who can deny that Michele Bachmann would have been a better president —— and better for the country.

Sadly, one of our best and brightest, U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-MN, has chosen not to seek a fifth term in Congress. A petite and beautiful happy warrior for truth, justice and the Constitution, Bachmann virtually defied political gravity when she was first elected in 2006 — the same year voters repudiated the George W. Bush-led GOP and gave Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid control of both the House and the Senate.

XXXXX

And when voters all across the country rebelled after two years of Barack Obama’s excesses, she was there to start the Tea Party caucus in the House. Unfortunately, while the Democrat old guard hated her and was trying to destroy her, the Republican old guard didn’t take kindly to this upstart firebrand female in their midst, either. Constitution? Hmph! Who does she think she is, anyway?

Too bad a lot more of the politicians don't think as she does - the President is limited to two terms and there should be a limit for the time other politicians remain in office. While she will be a loss perhaps she can be even more effective outside the beltway.

To Granny: I agree with you in part.

The Founding Fathers did not place term limits on presidents and congressmen. For all practical purposes they effectively placed term limits on senators. The NEVER RATIFIED XVII Amendment changed everything for the worse. The XVII Amendment gave the country long serving pieces of garbage like Ted Kennedy, Joe Biden, John Kerry, and a number of other Democrats. With the possible exception of FDR no president was able to implement one tenth of his personal agenda the way Kennedy turned almost all of his destructive hatred into legislation. Had he lived longer he would have gotten it all.

I can see limiting the president to eight years in order to guard against:

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad man. John Emerich Edward Dalberg, 1st Baron Acton (1834–1902)

There is one unsolvable problem with the XXII Amendment. Ronald Reagan would surely have gotten a third term. The problem is separating a good man like Reagan from bad men like FDR, Clinton and Hussein.

Frankly, I never understood why senators are allowed to get away with the things the public fears in dictator-presidents. As I said in 2009, Hussein’s Administration is a Senate Administration. Look at the UN-loving traitors that went from the Senate to the Executive Branch if you doubt me.

Finally, media moguls are guilty of the evils done by long serving senators. Media paymasters would fight to the death before they would allow the XVII Amendment to be repealed. Proof: It is the media that is making serving in the Senate a required gradation to the presidency. It was the media that guaranteed a sitting senator would become president in 2008. It mattered not which party he or she came from.

This is a great thread. Intense, even. I appreciate the varying opinions on Bachmann's worth to the nation.

What is best, however, is witnessing someone like Flanders......so fucking stupid that he thinks a complete idiot nutjob like Bachmann is a great force for good.......trying to play Constitutional scholar.

Priceless.

Needs more time to spend on "praying the gay away", no doubt.

Can you name one key piece of legislation that dimwit wrote or co-wrote during all her years in congress?

To LoneLaugher: Exactly what you are defending aside from my “. . . great thread.”

To MondoBongo: Get real. Did you forget who controlled one or both Houses of Congress in the seven years Michele has been there? With Hussein in the White House until she leaves it isn’t likely conservatives will pass any legislation. Discontent with Hillarycare II might see Michele lead the fight for repeal if enough Democrats go along to override Hussein’s veto.

Now you tell me one important piece of legislation passed by these four pieces of garbage collectively, or individually, who served together: Joe Biden —— 36 years in the Senate; John Kerry —— 27 years in the Senate; Hillary Clinton —— 8 years in the US Senate (the Bush years). Hussein was only there 3 years. Nevertheless, the brilliance of the smartest woman in the world combined with a Messiah should have been able to get something through.

So...she was prevented from even WRITING any legislature? Who knew? :doubt:

To MongoBongo: Obviously, that sentence is tongue in cheek. The rest of my response is right on target; more so than your idiotic question about Michele’s legislative accomplishments.
