Knowing Geologic history as I do...I have to ask why exactly would anyone declare a low laying bunch of islands a nation? Most of earths history the sea levels were 50-300 feet higher then today...corresponding, to global temperatures 2-7c warmer then today throughout 95% of our planets history.
