Hugh Hefner died on Wednesday this week. Liberals, especially the so-called "news" media, Hollyweirdos, and all manner of others are praising him for the mark he left on this nation and the world. He's being lauded as a visionary, a man before his time, a great leader, why? He founded and published a periodical that did more to damage women's self image, to denigrate women, to reduce them to the sum total of their unclad parts. He sold sex, nudity, and licentiousness. He glorified all things that the so-called feminist movement declared evil and bad.
Flash forward to today. The feminists are howling his praises to the moon, while women of more modest social standing decry the damage he's done to women, motherhood, the family, and otherwise decent social norms. Not just the "feminists", but all of liberaldom are in deep morning for having lost such a pioneering visionary.
And yet, almost to a soul, these same folks worshiping the passing of Hefner are the very same voices who screamed their outrage when a bootleg audio tape alleged to have been made of President Trump talking about how some women would do pretty much anything, allow pretty much anything to be done to them, as long as the man doing it had enough money.
Well, how about it? Why is Hefner such a liberal hero for doing far worse to womankind? Trump may have discussed this but there is no verifiable proof that he acted on his suggestion.
Why the difference?
