Actually, all you did was point to a story that is calling a reduction in the rate of increase of spending a cut. That is not cutting spending.

You really are dumb! Did you read anything I posted? Austerity isn't tanking their economy. Their economy is tanking because of many reasons prime among which is that their labour costs are rendering them uncompetitive. Until their labour costs fall in line with their erozone competitors their economy will continue to flounder. I ssume you know what flounder means. It's what you're doing in this thread.

BTW one way of regaining competiteveness in the market place is via wage freezes and wage cuts. That's an austerity measure. You need to brush up on the implications of cause and effect. Better still, read up on a subject before you air your ignorance. Especially since you seem to think that austerity measures work overnight.
