Let's assume Trump fires Sessions, then McConnell recesses the Senate, and then Trump makes a recess appointment of someone who then fires Mr. Mueller.

If this scenario is followed do you believe it is both an effort to obstruct justice, and a conspiracy among Trump, McConnell, and the recess appointee?

Yes or No?

No, because even an independent counsel serves at the pleasure of the President.

If the Dems take over congress they can start their own investigation and that's the only thing the president can't stop legally.

The actual obstruction of justice occurred when the D.C. police took the DNC computers and Debbie Wasserman shultz tole the cop that if he took the computers there would be consequences......this is on top of the arrest of the foriegn nationals handling the DNC servers.......

that is the obstruction of justice...

if you can't go without the name calling in the CDZ why did you post here?

The only crisis would be in the minds of the press and those who want to impeach him anyway.

Even Ken Starr's investigation of Clinton had to go through Congress to actually result in anything. The Special Prosecutor has no ability to prosecute the president, he can just present his information to Congress.

I put the thread in CDZ because of past experience, with you and several others.. I don't consider the use of the word sycophant to be an insult or a pejorative, it simply describes those who continue to defend Trump.

Nope......a Constitutional crisis only occurs when someone violates the Constitution......Trump can fire all those guys as part of his power as the head of the Executive Branch, and they could even find him in complete violation of the law, and he could simply pardon himself.....

The violation of the Constitution occurred when hilary sold her office to foriegn governments.
