Objective qst: Who was handed the better economic/social America?

Bbbut the Nobel!!!!!

—2,499 U.S. soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq so far under President Obama, according to the independent Iraq Coalition Casualty Count.

—Of those, 1,906 have been killed in and around Afghanistan, and 593 in Iraq.

—Under Obama, the United States has been at war for 2,687 days. That's longer than under George W. Bush — or any other U.S. president, for that matter.

—Obama has conducted airstrikes on seven countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and Syria. (That's three more countries than George W. Bush bombed.)

—U.S. combat forces are deployed on the ground in three countries: Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. That's one more war than Obama inherited, and which his successor will likely have to contend with.

2,500 Soldiers Have Died in Afghanistan and Iraq Under Obama
It's a shame Bush could not wrap up his mess before he left
If Bush had not abandoned the war on terror to pursue his cluster fuck in Iraq, 5000 deaths could have been prevented

How many combat forces do we have deployed in Syria?
Come on....you can tell us

The near super Democratic Party majority-controlled Congress, that controlled the budget / spending / debt addition / the economy Bush's last 2 years and Barry's 1st 2 years, left their fellow Democrat - Obama - with a worse economic situation.

Despite Obama's attempts to f* it all up by repeatedly by-passing Congress, paying terrorists/Iran ransoms, the failed ACA, failed nearly $1 trillion Stimulus, financing/arming terrorists, bailing out his donors' Solyndra+12 failed investments, and stealing $1 billion in tax dollars to give to the UN, the GOP-Controlled House was able to hand the Trump administration a better economy.

At least Bush's wars were authorized by Congress, to include Democrats...unlike Barry's 2 Un-Constitutional wars and besides him losing Iraq and our military having to fight to retake the nation they had already liberated.

How many hundreds of thousand of people have been slaughtered - to include murdered / killed Americans / US troops by Al Qaeda and ISIS, who have been aided by Barry?

Come on - you can tell us.

$6 trillion in debt is on their watch

Do you remember how the whole country was united after 9/11 for once in history, almost all of us were good with Bush going after the terrorists, and then they used the fear to start a oil war and once again we divided.

War deaths! Well, if giving back property that our soldiers died and got maimed to acquire is a smart thing, then by all means, Obama is a genius!

For now just address the above....

So, "giving back property [to the Iraqis] that our soldiers dies and got maimed to acquire" kind of means that the war ON Iraq was a war of conquest over Iraqi lands (and oil)......

Thanks for the implication that the war WAS a war for oil and property.....

See Nat, you lefties always start from a false premise. Why do you people do that?

Bush I, Bush II, and Obama never really fought a war, and that is what Americans do not like! (not that they didn't, but how they did!) You can't fight a PC war like the left wants, and tie your soldiers hands. If you go to war, you go to war......PERIOD! How many soldiers died because of the engagement policies? How long would it have taken to roll over any of these country's if we were actually at war, and not playing PC? I don't mean nukes, I mean convention weapons, civilians are warned to get out of the way, and if the enemy uses them as shields, oh well.....better them than our sons and daughters!

Maybe, just maybe, you ought to look back to WWII history, and see what America and Europe had to do to actually win a war. The wars today are about being PC, and winning the peace while we sacrifice our people. I don't believe Trump is going to do that. And you know what, ISIS is going to be used to show the rest of the world that we aren't going to play the nice war game any longer. Want the world to get a message? Well, I think it is going to happen pretty quickly.......of course, I expect your side to whine, but then again, you whine most of the time, so it won't be anything out of the ordinary!

We held back as long as possible with WWII, and it got to the point where we had to , so sad to say that the life's lost were truly sacrificed for our freedom..
Unlike in Cheney's fake unnecessary war.

So then you agree with President Trump. Good man, I knew you would come around eventually!

I agree with not policing the world , And I think the GOP will weasel Trump into some major problems just like they did Bush..

Well then, you and I can with respect, agree to disagree.

After watching Trump run for office, and watching him over the last couple of days, I highly doubt that anyone in Washington is going to talk him into much of anything. I do believe he will engage ISIS though, I really do, and he is going to hammer them without mercy..........unless of course they dissipate before he gets that chance. I am not a military expert, but I contend that it won't be about retaking an area, as much as it is catching them in a vice between massive forces, so they can get them all into nice prisons like Guantanamo. To eradicate them from one area, only to have them reconstitute elsewhere is illogical. If truth be told most American politicians would hope their fanaticism forces them to fight till the end so they can be wiped out. Personally, I think they are going to wuss out, and be arrested......meaning.....we are going to have an ongoing dialogue about what to do with these poor, misguided, souls. (that last 1/2 of the sentence will be the lefts talking point)

Carter was deplorable. .

......and continues to be such. He takes millions and millions from Arab interests and propagandizes the Arab point of view through his vilification of Israel and unquestioning support for Arab Palestinians.

People in the west wonder why they see so much Arab terrorism? Well, DUH -- IT WORKS. Arab Palestinians have been indulging in relentless terrorism for decades, and they are the world's darlings thanks to all the Jimmy Carters who promote them. It's like a parent who has a kid acting up. so gives them candy. Reward bad behavior and you get more bad behavior.

Unlike morons like you and your ilk of "Israel-First".......here's what Palestinians and the rest of the objective countries in the world may be a bit upset about.

Really? REALLY! So you don't want to drain the swamp? Oh, that is correct, of course NOT...........you need keep funding leftist think tanks. (leftist and think never belong in the same sentence, forgive me posters)

I do remember that
Bush had an 86 percent approval as the country rallied around him

We gave him an antiterrorism card where Bush could do anything he wanted. He abused the faith we had in him and our country hasn't been the same since

When obama took office the fucking media stopped televising those caskets and reading those names! That doesn't mean our soldiers weren't dying. It is just another measure of how fucking dishonest and leftist the American media is! Wise the fuck up. Bozo!

I believe that is a tactic of the right wing media. You might want to bone up on your political history.

Oh, so you know Sinclair is still playing around with programming for political purposes. They were the ones that started the whole refusing to broadcast the names bit. And to my knowledge, the news media never stopped broadcasting the names of soldiers that had made the supreme sacrifice during the Obama administration. You are delusional. Not surprising.

No, that would be Obama's watch. It's hard to control the budget when you have a rogue President by-passing Congress to fund, support, atm, train, protect and fight Un-Constitutional wars for terrorists, Mexican drug Cartels, give a billion to the UN while lying to the American people, fund his divisive Socialist agenda, pay randoms to terrorists, etc...
