The "demoncrats" are in power. THEY are the ones who have to make the case to the voters why we should keep them in power. And they're not doing a good job of it either.

Overall, though, the lingering message is that the GOP screwed up when in power, and now Democrats are making things right.

Blaming Bush for the economy aint gonna' work. A Double Dip Recession isn't "making things right" and people aren't gonna' fall for that.

Political movements based on emotion, like electing the first Black President, don't last long.
