You have already heard Obama contacted the treasury, putting the people's tax contributions to the tune of a half billion dollars to prop up this troubled and decimated Obama contributor's business that took de money and ran with the payroll, leaving 1100 people out of a job in California a year after the business got all that quickie cash from you and me.

This thread, please add what you can remember of other abuses of the U.S. Treasury engaged in by this administration. It's our money. They're taking it all, and they're not satisfied, they want more. The press is twiddling its thumbs and taping its mouth shut about these monumental scandals, showing up half a billion dollars to this Congress' relative and half a billion to that...all under absolutely guaranteed-to-get all their money back when the business flunks out of grade school in business.

They're the ones that put the trillion in the trashcan, but not just any trashcan. In a nutshell, these things work against the founders' Constitution and Bill of Rights: (1) Immature voters (2) Diversion of Government as a free market proponent to an unsustainable freebie superstore, (3) Takeover of conservative trusts by pickpocketing ideologues skilled at draining money from foundations, (4) Removal of conservative voter power by training college political science students to (a) reject Christianity and all values, (b) game voting by seeing how many votes one student can make and not get caught with a beer pot party as an incentive (c) abortion as expected public acceptance ritual rather than debutante and charity ball participants. Corrupt is when the fifth column loses its spinal fluid and collapses. That has happened here. Without a press willing to go against people who give them goodies like interviews, fame, and the earning power that goes with it, America is screwed, but you know, the T, there's one thing I do believe in.

I believe that our founders procured with their fervish prayers and entreaties to the Creator, as well as a willingness to overcome religious boundaries, a bonded brotherhood of friends that is exceedingly well worth fighting for. We're more than just a political body. We're comprised of every kindred and tribe on this terrestrial ball. Our citizens have inspired other societies to consider independence and personal freedoms and civil rights. We've been there for the world when it was at war, and we stopped Nazism when we loaned Ike out over there in Europe to get everyone working together. (That's pretty darn easy to do, when everybody hates the new kid on the block, works every time, <giggle> ) That said, we either need to kick some butts with impeachment or offer them the alternative of cleaning up their pickpocket act and act on the behalf of the people they thought they were going to help in the first place--all the people.

Citing Energy's data, Investors Business Daily reports that subsidies averaged $1.65 per megawatt hour in 2007. Wind and solar: $24. Similarly, while Obama "invests" up to $48.1 million per job, private employers hire the average individual for $58,510 annually, the Labor Department calculates.
When will liberals join conservative in denouncing this green-jobs fantasy? While most free market supporters would convert these funds to tax relief or debt reduction, only blind liberals cannot see that this extravagance impoverishes their favorite causes.

With modest expansion, railroads can handle all new oil produced in western Canada through 2030, according to an analysis of the Keystone proposal by the U.S. State Department.
