Obamacare Repeal Might Have Just Died Tonight

Hell in two years Trump could be on impeachment watch......our Trump will claim health problems and QUIT!!!
Nope, he might get bored after saving the economy in four years, and give Pence the reigns after that. You know something Obama failed at after 8 years trying.
What the fuck are you talking about? Bush handed President Obama an economy headed straight down. Went clear down to 6500. Now, we are close to 20,000. And the unemployment is at a 10 year low.

Are there people having a hard time? Yes, because brain dead jobs are now being done by machines. And there are far more brain dead 'Conservatives' than there are jobs of that type left. Yet there are over 5.8 million jobs going begging in this nation. Technical jobs that need training. Yet the GOP opposes training our young people for these jobs. And the incoming President seems not to have a clue about this.

Now, having been handed a solid economy, let us see what the orange clown and the GOP has done with the economy by the end of 2019. My bet is that it will be down by 25%. Possibly more, if a trade war is started.
You mean the democrats than ran both houses and the pocket book handed Obama a bad economy. Bush warned about it and Barney Frank said he was crazy.
What a liar you are. Bush purposely impeded the securities oversight so that the frauds and banksters could make billions while crashing the economy. And Bush bragged about his zero down housing deals that topped off that bubble. A couple of million american households ended up losing their homes. Wonder how many will lose their homes due to the orange clown.
It gained legs under Clinton dumbass, Bush warned about the bubble in 2006, Frank said he was crazy. Liberalism kills anything it touches. Thank God for president Trump and both houses running under republicans!
BUSH ADMINISTRATION ANNOUNCES NEW HUD "ZERO DOWN PAYMENT" MORTGAGE
Initiative Aimed at Removing Major Barrier to Homeownership

LAS VEGAS - As part of President Bush's ongoing effort to help American families achieve the dream of homeownership, Federal Housing Commissioner John C. Weicher today announced that HUD is proposing to offer a "zero down payment" mortgage, the most significant initiative by the Federal Housing Administration in over a decade. This action would help remove the greatest barrier facing first-time homebuyers - the lack of funds for a down payment on a mortgage.

Speaking at the National Association of Home Builders' annual convention, Commissioner Weicher indicated that the proposal, part of HUD's Fiscal Year 2005 budget request, would eliminate the statutory requirement of a minimum three percent down payment for FHA-insured single-family mortgages for first-time homebuyers.

"Offering FHA mortgages with no down payment will unlock the door to homeownership for hundreds of thousands of American families, particularly minorities," said HUD's Acting Secretary Alphonso Jackson. "President Bush has pledged to create 5.5 million new minority homeowners this decade, and this historic initiative will help meet this goal."

Preliminary projections indicate that the new FHA mortgage product would generate about 150,000 homebuyers in the first year alone.

"This initiative would not only address a major hurdle to homeownership and allow many renters to afford their own home, it would help these families build wealth and become true stakeholders in their communities," said Commissioner Weicher. "In addition, it would help spur the production of new housing in this country."

The Republican plan to repeal Obamacare and delay the implementation of the repeal — with a promise to come up with a terrific replacement later — is probably the party’s best way to destroy Obamacare. Unfortunately for Republicans, it’s also the best way to destroy the Republican majority in Congress.

Something big is happening in the Senate right now: The Republican plan, affirmed again today by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, is facing dire peril from Republican defections. Republicans need a House majority, 50 Senate votes, and soon-to-be President Trump to pass repeal and delay.

If Republicans lose three Senate votes, that drops them to 49, and repeal and delay cannot pass. At least three Republican senators (in addition to all the Democrats) now oppose repeal and delay. Rand Paul, of all people, has demanded that Congress repeal Obamacare at the same time it passes a plan to replace it. Paul has announced that he spoke with Trump and secured his agreement on this. Trump has not said so himself, confining his comments to date to a vague assurance, “That’s all gonna work out.”

If the traitor Obama didn't get impeached, Trump has nothing to worry about. But please do tell me, how hard are you gonna cry when Trump erases Obama's legacy?
Where did you arrive at that conclusions????

Well when can we lose those seats? Oh yeah, In two years! Obama Care will be history by then.
And replace by what??? The GOP has had 7 years to come up with a replacement and they haven't done it YET!!! Hell you and your ignorant ilk do not know as we speak. Will this be a GOP Over Reach????

Even the old system is four times better than what Obamacare offers.

My healthcare through my employer (for an individual) used to be $100 a month about five years ago before Obamacare was enacted. Now it's $668 a month for a "silver" plan and $268 a month for a "bronze" plan that doesn't cover anything in full other than preventative care.

When I can buy a $43,000 vehicle @ 2.99% for 72 months for the same price as health insurance costs for a "middle" plan, there's an issue. One should not be paying $47,026 over 6 years for health insurance, that is outrageous and is almost $8,000 a year (just for an individual, not a family mind you) for insurance coverage that doesn't even cover 100% of the cost. So if I'm making $15 an hour, I gross $31,200 a year (that's not even take home pay), so I'm spending roughly 26% of my gross pay on health insurance every year before they deduct taxes which will jack up the net pay to well over 30%. How do you expect someone to live a decent lifestyle that way? .

Unless you're an investor the economy still sucks. The only reason why stocks are up so high is because companies are tighter than they've ever been with their budgets... They take away benefits, pensions, insurance, raises, etc... They contract out so they don't have to pay benefits to those people or pay them at a higher rate but instead to the lowest bidder.

Please let us know when pensions, jobs that aren't contracted out but with the actual company come back, affordable health insurance, savings interest rates above 4.00% APR (returned), 40 million aren't on food stamps, and the average income isn't $10/hour when combining them with rich people and poor people come back, and then we'll talk about how "great" the economy is.

He's being handed a strong econo.y and low unemployment. What exactly is he "saving"? Are the Trump let's now having to resort to inventing problems for their new messiah to take credit for?
Lol, still record number on welfare, until that changes the economy isn't strong.

and yet another thread about how the republicans are destroying themselves. Coming up on the election we heard how the republican party was dead, Why, in just a few short years it would not even be a party at all. Now we hear how repealing insurance theft is going to destroy the republican party.
Funny thing is, the democrats who's party is evidently doing great, have been telling us about the failed republican party for some time now, yet, the republicans are stronger right now, and the democrats are weaker than we have seen since 1930?
If I were to guess, I would have to say that the country is rejecting the democrats freebie bullshit at an unprecedented rate, and if the democrats want to continue to be a party, they had better start moving to the right and pushing things like, responsibility instead of safety nets.
This alone is why the democrats are so interested in protecting their illegal pets.
