If "everything" is on the table then raise the taxes on the lowest fifty percent of income earners. If 100,000,000 have to pay $1000 (average), that would bring in $100,000,000,000 additional revenue.
Eliminate funds for Media Matters that is getting tax breaks (that is income that could go to help the "children"). Eliminate tax breaks for any political action group, ACORN (or whatever name they are using), now. Cut educational grants by 50% (times are hard, get over it). Let's see how willing the congress is to seriously cut spending, and increase taxes.
