Since I have been listening to Barack Obama, all I have been hearing is nothing
but slick madison avenue slogans. No real substance on the issues that face America. Just slick one liners. Is this politician the biggest gimmick That ever ran for the office of President of the United States?.

No.

That would be Giuliani.

Everything he ever said was a noun, a verb, and "9/11."

You would prefer he was as dumb as the current president? or maybe you just need to read a bit?

A vote for John McCain is a vote against the fundamental principle of America, the right of the individual to lead their life privately without the government interfering.

Many of his speeches are written by professional speech writers.

So are just about every president and politician in recent memory, I am not so sure what he is getting at by saying that.

Besides I think everyone pretty much agrees Obama gives a great speech.

It is when he speaks off the cuff so to speak, that I think he is lacking.

I think Bush is the king of slick one liners. At first I thought that his little "Gaffes" were cute and funny, but then I soon realized that his flubs were just sad and screamed of something a little more serious. Bush has a literacy problem. He can't read on an adult level. I think he should have made this the focal point of his education policy. Like Nancy Regan having all of those cool slogans like "Just Say No" and literacy programs in schools, and libraries. I'm sure George felt like the odd kid out in school, his peers getting ahead, and knowing the feeling of being "left behind." George, you need help! You need hooked on Phonics!!! Things like, "Too many OBGYN's cant practice their love with their patients"; is just sad. So to say that Obama is full of slick one liners is ignoring the fact, that we have a guy occupying federal land at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, that can't even read on an adult level. :eusa_whistle:

dumb as the current President. Atleast President Bush knows how many states there are.

Should I care? Im not exactly a fabulously proMcCain supporter. I think we are stuck with less than fabulous choices.

With that, I am not exactly sure why you think that excuses Obama for making dumber statements.

judging by his name I would think he does not like Obama either, but maybe I am wrong :) Greenpartyaz and all.

Your right I don't like Obama, but I will come to his defense when I see a bullshit attack on either of the two candidates. Many still believe Obama is a Muslim, or Hussein ties him to terrorists. It is just stupid people, lobbing stupid accusations! I would like to think the American electorate is a little brighter than this horse shit!:eusa_whistle:

That is exactly what I was doing. Pointing out a bullcrap argument about President Bush. I've seen no real evidence that he is an idiot. Yet, the people who claim he is voted for candidates who did worse than him in school and are planning to vote for Obama who has made dumber gaffes.

So pointing out the stupidity of the arguments for Obama is a bs attack on Obama. Got ya. And I guess opposing Obama is racist too? Typical.

Opposing Obama isn't racist, I never implied that! Obama has made some slip-ups in his speeches. I was just pointing out that it goes both ways. Adding balance to the argument. I know that you seem to support Bush, and I respect that. But I also think that what Bush has done over the last eight years is almost criminal! :eusa_whistle:

aahh a kool aid drinker if only the dems were for the individuals rites instead of radical gays and environmentalists oh socialists their new favorite, I might still be one. lol
