Will the miracles never cease...?

5 trillion approx. added to the national debt by election day.

Gas prices will hit approx $ 4.25 a gallon nationally....(already over $4.00 here in CA)

Real unemployment a hell of a lot higher than 8.3%

food, utilities.. you name it.. all up under Obama's regime...

--------------------

WASHINGTON (AP) — The ranks of America's poor swelled to almost 1 in 6 people last year, reaching a new high as long-term unemployment left millions of Americans struggling and out of work. The number of uninsured edged up to 49.9 million, the biggest in more than two decades.

The Census Bureau's annual report released Tuesday offers a snapshot of the economic well-being of U.S. households for 2010, when joblessness hovered above 9 percent for a second year. It comes at a politically sensitive time for President Barack Obama, who has acknowledged in the midst of a re-election fight that the unemployment rate could persist at high levels through next year.

The overall poverty rate climbed to 15.1 percent, or 46.2 million, up from 14.3 percent in 2009. The official poverty level is an annual income of $22,314 for a family of four.

Reflecting the lingering impact of the recession, the U.S. poverty rate from 2007-2010 has now risen faster than any three-year period since the early 1980s, when a crippling energy crisis amid government cutbacks contributed to inflation, spiraling interest rates and unemployment.

Measured by total numbers, the 46 million now living in poverty is the largest on record dating back to when the census began tracking poverty in 1959. Based on percentages, it tied the poverty level in 1993 and was the highest since 1983.

Like I said, fruit of the poisoned tree.

To many viewing politics, a truth is a lie undiscovered or willingly unrecognized...:eusa_whistle:

Bingo.

About 70% think this country is headed in the wrong direction. If that number holds by November, Obama is toast. Look at the UE number, nobody since the 30's had been re-elected with UE over 7%, and the labor participation rate is as low as it's been in what 60 some years?

Everybody knows the economy was in terrible shape when Obama took office, the question is whether he's done a good job improving the situation. IMHO, no he hasn't.

Hey, we aren't in a recession anymore.

And I'm guessing most likely you vote Republican. Clearly you are not a liberal Democrat. For people like you, nothing Obama achieves will ever be enough. You must not realize how bad things were when he took over.

And your numbers are old/wrong. Stop listening to Rush and watching Fox. Its rotting your brain. They lie!

The number of people seeking unemployment benefits fell to the lowest point in almost four years.

In other economic news, a rise in building permits suggested that the construction industry was growing confident that more buyers were ready to come off the sidelines, and the latest data on wholesale prices signaled that inflation remained largely in check. And a survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia found continued expansion in factories in mid-Atlantic states.

the number of December single-family homes was revised up strongly to show builders had started 513,000 homes, a 12 percent gain from November.

The consistent decline indicates that companies are laying off fewer workers and that hiring is picking up. When applications drop consistently below 375,000, it usually signals that hiring is strong enough to lower the unemployment rate.

Wholesale gas prices rose, but were offset by steep drops in home heating oil, natural gas and electricity, which fell by the most in more than seven years.

The Philadelphia Fed’s survey of economic conditions for February found increases in manufacturing activity, new orders and shipments. Over all, the report’s index of manufacturing conditions rose to 10.2 points, up from 7.3 in January.

And if you look deeper into those polls, you will find that those people aren't blaming Obama for the wrong direction we are headed. They blame the GOP Senators and House. Their numbers are abismal.

this is 1948 all over again. Remember Dewey Defeats Truman? You are in for a rude awakening. The right over reached back then and they have done it again today.

Think about all the auto workers and goverment union workers that are going to give the Democrats Ohio and Michigan. You guys have no idea how bad things are really looking for Republicans.

Look at Scott Walker's approval numbers. The GOP has never been more unpopular.

But the corporate controlled media aint telling you that. They'd rather talk about how gas is Obama's fault and Catholics are being persecuted.

Umm, not sure what you mean by that. But O did take office during the depths of a severe global economic crisis... No matter how "good" he is, it stands to reason that his misery index will be higher than the two presidents who presided over the buildup.

It's not that complex really.
