Obama is running scared!

Just because you guys are freaking out, doesn't mean we have to get sucked into it.

A. You are wrong

B. You are liars

C. You act like you won just because you say you won

D. We knew it would be hard

E. No one likes the GOP. They might be frustrated with Obama, but we all still hate the GOP.

F. This all proves the GOP and the media are corrupt.

G. Also proves that corporations/lobbyists control what goes on in Washington.

PS. Just think about this. 8 years ago today, Bush was on vacation and the 9-11 hijackers were less than 2 months from attacking us. People were warning Bush but bush had too much on his plate. So give Obama a break. He's got a lot more on his plate.

Anyways, you should vote for him if he doesn't fix healthcare because you don't want reform, remember? And you love the wars, and the economy is fine with you, remember?

I love the way liberals toss their arguments around with authority! What I really like is when you get them backed up to a wall with reality, they hump their backs up like a cat and show their claws. They also hiss alot... What amazes me though, is Bush has been out of office for 6 months now. He's still blamed for everything. When does Obama start taking responsibility for his own stupidity? Can't wait for the next election cycle to get here. I'm sure all of those unemployed people won't have anything better to do than go vote. Wonder just who they will vote for? Betcha it isn't a Democrat.

Betcha it will be. Betcha we pick up more seats in 2010 too.

Sure it won't be an ass whoopin like 2008 was, but Obama will still win in 2012. Who you gonna run? First you gotta run someone buddy. Take a look at your GOP leaders popularity. Its worse than the Dems. Boehner is at 15% and he's your leader!!! We are getting shut out yes, but your team isn't even in the game.

Yea, none of what America is going thru has anything to do with the last 8 years. :cuckoo:

6 months in is not long enough. Willow wanted Obama to "be responsible" for all this shit on day 1.

PS. We are upset with the Dems, true. But why? Not because they are socialists, but because they are acting just like Republicans. Or they keep saying why they can't get things passed. Have you forgotten that your party didn't fix healthcare when they were in charge? Or end the war? Or fix the economy? Actually, they created all these problems.

Remember you bitches said 9-11 wasn't Bush's fault because he was only in office for 9 months?

Yea, Obama is a guaranteed 2 term president. 2012 is too soon to forget who's to blame. And yes, Obama will be spending all 4 years cleaning up Bush's mess and undoing what the Tom Delay GOP did from 2000-2006.

The American people are also upset because the stimulis hasn't done much. Well only 10% of it has been spent. The economy will be just fine by 2011. So you are fucked.

Don't act like you are winning, in control, right, smart, etc. You are none of these things. We told you the GOP sucked from 2000-2008 and you denied it. Then you lost the 06 and 08 elections. Now we are going to get America out of the mess you guys got us in. You'll fight us every step of the way, and you do have the media and corporations and bankers working with you, but we have a 60 seat majority which means we have a lot of options.

You only have a few. Lie and obstruct.

I didn't support Obama, yet I am on the left side of the fence.

I didn't apprecieate the fact that normal people I agree with politically were swooning over one god dang word "change". Fucking sheeple. Just because something is new, doesn't mean it's good. The argument that dems only voted for him because they wanted to say they voted for the first black president, is a good one, I personally know some non-political types who did that. Fucking idiots, don't vote, if all you want is to sound great to your grandkids.

But what I find more humourous are you folks, going bat shit over Obama's failures when he's been in office 6 months. It's going to be at least another 3.5 years, shouldn't you guys pace yourselves, or you're going to hurt yourselves.

Yup. At this point in time, Clinton's approval rating was in the 30's. By the time he left office, in spite of the sex scandal, he was polling in the 60's.

If health care reform dies on the vine, at least this time the vine itself won't die. There's too much at stake, there are too many average citizens who are FINALLY educating themselves on both sides of the health issue for it to end the way it did in 1993. I almost wish it could be back-burnered so that the administration can move on with other important things.

All that said, there's no way in hell any of the die-hard Obama-haters-no-matter-what will ever approve of a single thing he says or does. So there's really no point in wasting MY time on tit-for-tats with the usuals here. I'll discuss the merits of an issue, period.

 With unemployment benefits extended over loud Republican objections, I seriously doubt they'll be voting Republican. Try again.

And I'll be honest. I am worried about the "compromise" they will come up with. I don't want a compromise. I/We want a strong public option.

But what will happen is we will compromise on a half ass solution where the insurance providers get to write the policies.

And I just love that any of us that are against the status quo are called socialists. So when we try to get the politicians to deal with corporations that are gouging us, the corporate media/lobbyists/Republicans call us socialists.

Ok fine, lets just continue letting lobbyists donate to our politicians to get them to go against what we want. That makes sense.

I love the way conservatives rally around a single talking point, that Obama is a socialist.

Guess what, it didn't work in the election, get a new one. What about Obama isn't eligible?

:eusa_eh: Maybe no one believed he was a socialist before he was elected. He is proving just who he really is. There are only 21% who believe they are liberals in this country. He might be a tough sell in the next election.

Be honest....you didn't support him because you can't even vote in this country. :cuckoo:

He (President Obama) had a secret meeting with the non-partisan, independant, CBO today to tell them to STFU about how expensive his plans are really becoming and just how much debt they will strap our children with, IMO.

Hot Air » Blog Archive » Why did Obama meet with the CBO?

I note that Hotair chose not to include the last paragraph of Elmendorf's blog comment.

"People have asked whether it was exciting to meet the President and be in the Oval Office: Yes, and my kids will be jealous when they get back from summer camp and hear about it. Of course, the setting of the conversation and the nature of the participants do not affect CBO’s analysis of health reform legislation. We will continue to work with Members of Congress and their staffs, on both sides of the aisle, to provide cost estimates and other information as health reform legislation is considered."

It's quite possible that the President wanted to get information straight from the horse's mouth prior to his news conference this evening. Perish the thought that he wants to get all his ducks in a row in preparation for the mud slinging.

He's not a socialist. he is in fact a marxist. born from the "black liberation theology" of rev. bullfrog!

Bull.

When the Prez calls you in, it is to first instill awe in the surrounding, and if any hint of that attempt is failing, it is then to scare the crap out of you.

This was a clear sign that Obama is getting very anxious. If he can't charm them, and he can't scare them, his power base is crumbling beneath him...

If that happens, the onus will fall back on Republicans as more and more middle-class folks fall through the cracks.

Where are all the hard-core Obama supporters out there? All I hear is crickets!:eusa_whistle:

You're the one saying you hate us. Why is that? I don't hate you. Yes, I'm a Republican. You hate me because of that. But I thought the liberals where the ones all about love.

Why does it have to be either corporations/special interests or government since they are usually connected at the hip anyway?
It's known as Hegelian dialectic....It's all that room-temperature IQs, like sallybooboo's, can comprehend.

What is the Hegelian Dialectic?

Jeezus, talk about blatant hypocrisy!! "Every time we fight for or defend against an ideology we are playing a necessary role in Marx and Engels' grand design to advance humanity into a dictatorship of the proletariat."

What the hell does this Hegel fella think propelled all the Bush/Cheney supporters to be so gung-ho on THEIR "ideology" of preemption?

Shit, Dude, where'd you drag that archiac piece of nonsense out from?

Of course he's anxious. But for the CBO to change its position this late in the game would be the ultimate in arm-twisting--enough to make Tom DeLay blush. The media would be all over it like a typhoon. Obama is not stupid, much as you idiots try to portray him as such.

Cheney mailed 2 Daschle & Leahy antrax when they didn't sign the patriot act. :eusa_shhh:

Bush pushed thru his radical agenda with lower approval ratings and less seats in congress.

And yes, Tom Delay was a very scary house leader. Look him up. What was his nickname? The hammer?

Does Harry Reed or Pelosi have nicknames like that? They should.

Reid's nickname is "Fucking Moron"
