Obama is running scared!

First you cried that we were spending the $700 billion, now you are crying that we haven't spent enough to make a difference. You Americans want immediate results. No patience.

1. The GOP won't create jobs. They'll send more jobs overseas. At least the good paying ones. But if the Dems fuck over the unions, they might lose their support.

2. The GOP sent jobs overseas. If you vote them back in too soon, they'll know they don't have to change.

I just love these people crying for change 6 months into Obama's presidency. Well, they didn't listen to us when we cried for 8 years, so screw listening to them.

And look how bad things were in 2004. Bush should have never won a second term, but somehow he did.

Hey dimwit....the stimulus bill was shoved on us with the idea we were going to have shovel ready jobs in the market, it was a crisis...remember? Now here is where it will get sticky for you.....nobody read the damn bill and voted on it anyway. Now here is where it gets real sticky for you....less than 10% of the funds have been allocated, and very little of that for creating jobs.
"The GOP sent jobs overseas" For the Love of God, it was a democrat president that initiated it, and your democrats helped push it through.
Salybooboo, at least be honest.
So go blather your tripe else where, because it isn't going to fly here.

They never read the entire bills. The GOP never read the Patriot Act. Now all of the sudden this is news to you?

And they've only spent 10% of the stimulus bill. Chill out. No sense in blowing it all at once. Or do you hope the Dems piss it all away so you can say, "see, it didn't work". Hell, you're already saying that. You and Willow should fuck.

And why can't Obama bring jobs back home?

And do you think the GOP will bring jobs home? They created all the problems. Now you want us to think they are best to fix the problems, that they didn't even admit were problems? Just like Healthcare. They didn't think there was a problem, now they are going to fix the problems that they don't even realize exist?

The stimulus isn't the solution to our problems. The stimulus is suppose to help get us thru the recession the GOP created. And at the same time repair our countries infrastructure. But when the money is all spent up, what then? Will we still be sending jobs overseas? Will we have new green jobs to replace the manufacturing jobs that left?

Obama has all this on his plate. Some say he's trying to do too much, some say he isn't doing enough. And we all knew people like you would be getting in the way of progress, so that's what I'm here for. I'm here to point out what a hack you are.

Eh.....crisis? Stimulus to create shovel ready jobs? Most of the stimulus money is to be spent from 2010 on out. That would be a bill I would not want my name attached to. I don't know, I just find it interesting how you spin and blame booboo.
One other thing that you just can't bring yourself to admit....it was both parties that got us into the problems we have...not just the party you loath booboo. Don't you have a cold call to make selling butcher knives or something?

The only shovel ready projects in my neck of the woods are in the horse barns.

Half of NJs bridges are falling down but our gov gave over 90 percent to social services. Horse shit alright.

Nice deflection.....I see you brought in the "booboo science" for your proof.

There is no proof. The proof is what happened last year. You guys seem to rely on the hope that we have short memories. Your polls were wrong then and they are misleading now. I heard the full results on Ron Reagan's show last night. And an expert was on explaining what the results mean. It doesn't mean Republicans are fairing any better. In fact, their numbers are even lower than the Dems.

And you seem to be putting all your hopes and dreams on these polls, 6 months into a 4 year job. Wacko's.

PS. I thought polls didn't matter? Obama and the Dems should not worry about polls. Bush didn't, and he got elected twice. Actually he stole both elections but you know what I mean. No matter how bad he did, he had enough support to keep it close. Obama will win just because he's the lesser of the two evils.

:cuckoo: again, nice deflection:cuckoo:

Well replying to your lies and false propoganda is frustrating. Anyways, I'm going to take a step back and let you righties vent.

As for my advice to you? Listen to Obama tonight. He is going to respond to a lot of your concerns. I just got this email from him:

As you read this, we are closer than ever to passing comprehensive health insurance reform that benefits American families and small businesses. Despite all the back and forth in the news right now, it is important to understand just how far we've come in this challenging process.

That's why I'm holding a press conference tonight at 8pm ET, and writing to let everyone know where we are, what's ahead, and why health insurance reform is so important.

Let me be clear: although Congress is still debating parts of the legislation we have achieved critical consensus on several key areas:
If you already have health insurance: reform will provide you with more security and stability. It will limit your own out of pocket costs and prevent your insurance company from dropping your coverage if you get too sick. You'll also have affordable insurance options if you lose or change your job. And it will cover preventive care like check-ups and mammograms that save lives and money.

If you don't have health insurance: you will finally have guaranteed access to quality, affordable health care, and you can choose the plan that best suits your family's needs. And no insurance company will be allowed to deny you coverage because of a pre-existing medical condition.

Now, I realize that the last few miles of any race are the hardest to run, but we can't stop now. There's no dispute about it: we cannot control our long-term fiscal health as a nation without health insurance reform. American families and small businesses understand that the health insurance status quo is taking away those things that they value most about health care. The stability and security that comes with knowing that you can get the treatment you need, when you need it. Without reform, we are consigning our children to a future of skyrocketing premiums and crushing deficits.

We have to seize this opportunity and pass health insurance reform this year. You can help by forwarding this email to your family and friends and letting them know what's at stake in this debate.

Thank you,
Barack Obama

P.S. Tune in to tonight's press conference on health insurance reform at 8pm ET on WhiteHouse.gov.

I love the way liberals toss their arguments around with authority! What I really like is when you get them backed up to a wall with reality, they hump their backs up like a cat and show their claws. They also hiss alot... What amazes me though, is Bush has been out of office for 6 months now. He's still blamed for everything. When does Obama start taking responsibility for his own stupidity? Can't wait for the next election cycle to get here. I'm sure all of those unemployed people won't have anything better to do than go vote. Wonder just who they will vote for? Betcha it isn't a Democrat.

 With unemployment benefits extended over loud Republican objections, I seriously doubt they'll be voting Republican. Try again.

Maggie, I think more people are concerned with job creation more than extending the unemployment. Creating jobs will nullify unemployment benefits. Very little of the stimulus money has been used for creating jobs, and the people are catching on to that.

Obviously the unemployed are more interested in finding work. That's not what I was responding to. However, jobs won't happen until businesses start hiring, of course, and businesses can't start hiring until the economy loosens up. It's not a quick process, even in a mild recession and this is a severe one.

Just because you guys are freaking out, doesn't mean we have to get sucked into it.

A. You are wrong

B. You are liars

C. You act like you won just because you say you won

D. We knew it would be hard

E. No one likes the GOP. They might be frustrated with Obama, but we all still hate the GOP.

F. This all proves the GOP and the media are corrupt.

G. Also proves that corporations/lobbyists control what goes on in Washington.

PS. Just think about this. 8 years ago today, Bush was on vacation and the 9-11 hijackers were less than 2 months from attacking us. People were warning Bush but bush had too much on his plate. So give Obama a break. He's got a lot more on his plate.

Anyways, you should vote for him if he doesn't fix healthcare because you don't want reform, remember? And you love the wars, and the economy is fine with you, remember?

You're the one saying you hate us. Why is that? I don't hate you. Yes, I'm a Republican. You hate me because of that. But I thought the liberals where the ones all about love.

Listen. I have a lot of Republican friends and family. I don't hate them. I hate their politics.

And I hate anyone who doesn't give a rats ass about me or our society.

I hate anyone who wants to change America to a country where the middle class never gets to retire just so millionaires can be billionaires.

Now you broke ass Republicans, I don't hate you because it isn't on purpose. You don't realize what you are doing. But I do hate your stupidity, greed, arrogance, ignorance.

There are "Blue Dog Democrats," but what are liberal Republicans called and are there any left on Capitol Hill? The Republicans in my family were more the "compassionate conservative" type, more than willing to pay more in taxes to help those less fortunate. Are they a dying breed of Republican?

One other thing that you just can't bring yourself to admit....it was both parties that got us into the problems we have...not just the party you loath booboo. Don't you have a cold call to make selling butcher knives or something?

Yes. It was both parties. Look at which Dems went along with the GOP's plans to destroy America and you will see the same thing as you are seeing with these blue dogs. They got money from the corporations so they went along. On FISA, immunity to the phone companies for spying on us, Hillary voting for the war, Dodd giving bonus', max baucus, etc.

So it is funny you realize the problem when it is Dems doing it but you don't care that the GOP represents the corporations the exact same way. They put them over you. But they have convinced you that catering to the corporations is good for you, because otherwise they'll lay people off, will raise prices or send jobs overseas.

But when you suggest that Dems are no different, you seem to be saying it in a negative way. But you like when GOP'ers do this. See, you talk out of both sides of your face. No sense at all.

So in reality, the ones you are calling socialists are the good ones and the blue dogs are the ones taking money from lobbyists and voting against what the American people want, which is a strong public option.

And because the American people want it and the Corporations/GOP don't want it, you side with them, not yourself. You think your healthcare is great. You are CLUELESS. And the same people raping your asshole are the same who tell you that the public plan will be bad. Yea, really smart.

Bull.

When the Prez calls you in, it is to first instill awe in the surrounding, and if any hint of that attempt is failing, it is then to scare the crap out of you.

This was a clear sign that Obama is getting very anxious. If he can't charm them, and he can't scare them, his power base is crumbling beneath him...

Cheney mailed 2 Daschle & Leahy antrax when they didn't sign the patriot act. :eusa_shhh:

Bush pushed thru his radical agenda with lower approval ratings and less seats in congress.

And yes, Tom Delay was a very scary house leader. Look him up. What was his nickname? The hammer?

Does Harry Reed or Pelosi have nicknames like that? They should.

Aren't those the two that have brought the lowest approval rating in the Senate, and Congress since the ratings were started? just askin....

No. Scroll about half-way down the page and you'll see polling of Congress going all the way back to 1999.

Congress: Republicans

Congress: Democrats

It's known as Hegelian dialectic....It's all that room-temperature IQs, like sallybooboo's, can comprehend.

What is the Hegelian Dialectic?

Jeezus, talk about blatant hypocrisy!! "Every time we fight for or defend against an ideology we are playing a necessary role in Marx and Engels' grand design to advance humanity into a dictatorship of the proletariat."

What the hell does this Hegel fella think propelled all the Bush/Cheney supporters to be so gung-ho on THEIR "ideology" of preemption?

Shit, Dude, where'd you drag that archiac piece of nonsense out from?
From a better place than you pulled that "but....but....but...but...GEORGE BOOOOOOOOOSH!!!" bullshit.

In fact, your inane retort tends to support the linked material.

Good job, hack-in-the-boxette.

I'll link BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH to the fucking state of this country anytime I please. So sue me, asshole.

I simply wondered what the point was in bringing up some old fart's opinion that just because one follows a specific ideology he's automatically a "Marxist." How does THAT make sense? Especially to O Learned One--The DUUUUUDE.

The biggest complaint I have about the stimulus bill is that Obama should have made it clear at the outset that it would take longer than four months to see any solid results. Much of the stimulus money has not been spent. It's sitting there waiting for the states to get their own act together before it is disbursed, which is a GOOD thing.

Stimulus Aid Being Doled Out, Slowly - washingtonpost.com

...the money is working its way into the system far more gradually as officials strive to meet not only existing guidelines for programs receiving aid but also reporting requirements that have been added to make sure that stimulus funding is spent as intended and to account for the jobs it creates.

booboo, you still don't get it, I have told you repeatedly that I'm not a democrat nor a republican. I look at them as one....politicians, and I trust none of them. So once and for all stop with me and the GOP'ers.
You are the clueless one on so many levels booboo. The healthcare bill as it stands IS a bad one. Lets get one that is right...I'm on board with that...but not this one that nobody in congress seems to know what it's all about. Obama has a timetable on something this important...he's in there for at least 3 1/2 years more., what's the rush. If we're going to spend this much money, let's get it right the first time. But, you just want something...anything good, or bad just get your buddy to sign the damn thing. That's why I call you a dimwit.

I understand what your saying Maggie. But, this is the bill that had to get passed through the House and Senate without the time to even read the bill. it was that urgent. Now I'm being told that we have to go slowly at creating jobs. What was the hurry to get it passed. I'm mean there wasn't time for a 5 day wait period to even read the thing. Some one is not being forthcoming on this. I believe it was the Obama administration. It has been more of paying back unions than creating jobs. Plus, there was the statement about this money would be for shovel ready jobs. The states aren't slowing this down, but the administration is.
Another problem with this bill has been the stipulations put on the jobs that are going to recieve the stimulus money. I know a lot of area jobs that refuse to accept the money because of the stipulations. Not helping the economy at all.
