It's funny that parnterships and LLCs do business too. Sole proprietorships as well. I've asked many times why it is that Corporations are evil yet these other entitities aren't. Ive never seen a very satisfactory answer. In fact, I dont know that Ive ever seen an answer.

Why are corporations evil? What's bad about employing thousands of people and providing goods and services to the public?

The people they work and the materials they use are in Hong Kong. Not that makes them evil. The workers who lose jobs due to down sizing. Not that makes them evil. The minimum wages they pay American workers who need government subsidies to make ends meet. Not that makes them evil. Raising product prices so high, that thousands lose their jobs, homes, and banks collapse as national Security goes down the drain. Not that makes them evil. Making weapons of destruction to further the Capitalist cause of Empire building. Not that makes them evil. Shaping the American government into another corporate run affair to control the world. Not that makes them evil.

Geeze, I can't think of why anyone would want to call corporations evil. As long as we pay them billions annually, they will never be evil. Kinda like having a guard dog, as long as you feed hi, he won't bite your hand.

How about break the backs of small local businesses with low pricing, and then jack the pricing up and lower the wage scale once they have succeeded, forcing you to buy from them, work for them, or nobody. Corporations aren't evil, they're just in it to increase shareholder value. There's nothing wrong with that.

But that doesn't mean they should be making policy for this country. What's best for the shareholders isn't necessarily the best for the United States as a whole.
