Gallup has been a polling organization for way longer than Rasmussen. It was founded in 1935, while Rasmussen was founded in 2003. Guess who I'm going to take more seriously?

Most Americans don't pay as much attention to politics as the people on this forum do.

So, for example, if Joe Q. Public hears Obama got an American freed from the Taliban, he feels that is a good thing. If Joe Q. Public subsequently hears the freed American is a loser, they don't put the blame on Obama. They put it on the loser.

If a bolt of lightning strikes someone dead, there are people in the partisan media who will do their utmost to "prove" it was somehow Obama's fault. Fortunately, most Americans aren't buying what they are selling. A hack partisan media outlet can claim it is number one in the ratings, but that doesn't mean shit when you look at the numbers. Two million viewers gets a top rating. But there are 300 million Americans, so you only need six tenths of one percent of all Americans to be number one in the ratings.

The other polls do something we call "oversample" which tends to "skew" the results. Rassmussen is the most trusted poll in America and is not infected by the liberal media
