NY Jets oust Tebow

I'm certain that if Seattle had any professional sports teams, then they would have jaded players too.

I'll have slice O that! Care to make a teensie weensie wager on the 2014 SB? Denver will probably repeat in the AFC. That is if Manning's neck holds out. Seattle with all it's disgruntled..Jaded players will win the NFC West and ensure Huston and Atlanta lose at home and have to play on the road in the playoffs. They will have SF knocking on thier doors in January at WA DC and Indyanapolopolis. The Giants won't be a factor. GB will have to play in Seattle or SF.

Seattle will have a bye week one of the playoffs then host GB or Chicago in the Clink. Then SF will play for the NFC title in Seattle. They will be crushed.

In the Super Bowl Peyton Manning will get sacked so hard that he will be on the bench in the entire second half.

The Cry Babies that live in Denver will scream foul. The Seahawks will be so caught up in all the jaded back biting they will hardly know they won the Lombardi Trophy. Richard Sherman will snatch the microphone from the NFL Commisioner and go off on Manning for being such a PUSSY he sat out half the game..YOU MAD BRO????

100 bucks says it's true. What say you?

Its early yet, but the NFC West looks like a good battle between SF and Seattle. SF has been in the SB hunt the last two years. They probably have a one or two year window left. Seattle is a up and comer, very strong.

Ninety-five percent chance that the division isn't as interesting as all that.

Here's the formula:

Win 12 games; earn a first round bye
Win 11 games and get home field advantage in the wild card round
Win 10 games and make it into the playoffs

Oh and don't I wish it were so.. Seahawks 11-5 had to fly to DC and play on THAT field Sun afternoon, lose Clemmons our best DE sacker on THAT field, then fly back to Seattle and THEN fly all the way back to Atlanta for a 10AM Sat game the next weekend.

I actually hated Tebow when he was at Florida. I thought the SEC media painted him great and he got a bigger head than he ever deserved; especially when they handed him that second paper championship. That said, now that I see all the bitches hating on him just because of his religious beliefs; I kind of want to see him succeed as an F U to those bitches.
"Second paper championship"?
How so?
Can't help it if Cali can't hang with the SEC.
That being said, I agree with the rest

There are variations; but that's the standard formula. There are especially variations b/c the NFL is insistent upon giving lesser division winners home field advantage like the Cardinals got when they were 8-8 and then made it to the Super Bowl. It's pretty retarded. That said; that's still the standard formula. You can't over think it going forward because there are otherwise too many possibilities. For instance; could the Niners go 14-2 and the Seahawks go 13-3? Sure. But it's highly unlikely.

A good percent of the college championships were paper championships. Bobby Bowden's 88 championship was a paper championship. And when Tebow's gators lost to Ole Miss; the media was already drawing up plans for them to win the rest of their games and be in the one-two game and it didn't matter if there were just as worthy or more worthy one loss candidates. It comes down to money and Florida was where the money was at. I personally have not watched most of the rigged championships in recent years b/c of that. They should have went to a 16 team playoff a long time ago. Even the 4 team playoff is pandering to bowl parties. It's inadvertently a step in the right direction.

Tebow is much more about Tebow than any team he is on.

Just sayin..

What allegedly makes Tebow so selfish?

I think Tebow has a personality that people like him or dislike him; but I don't think he's causing dissension. Obviously, the media wants to pretend it's so to have a story to sell.

The 9ers went backwards this off season in thier secondary and made a small step forward in thier offense with FA Boldin from the Ravens. They will be more susceptible to a good pass attack and the opportunity to get yards fast in big chunks resulting in high scores.

The Seahawks built thier team to beat the best in the NFC West. The team that demolished SF 42 to 13 in thier last meeting made huge improvements in receiving (Percy Harvin from Minnisota) and several aquisitions on the D-Line including one of the best d-backs in FA to add to our all pros in the defensive backfield. It will be VERY difficult to throw ANY passes against the Hawks let alone score many points through the air. A couple of our new FAs are run stopping specialists. These additions are welcomed into the fold of the number one scoring defense last season. This may very well be the most talented defense ever assembled to play on a football field EVER!

Then there is Russell Wilson. He will definitely not have a sophmore slump. He will be even better than last season...A LOT better if anyone can imagine it. His ability to extend plays is already been the best that ever was as performed by a rookie. 26 TDs with 10 ints last year. Payton Manning's rookie season produced 26 TDs with 28 interceptions. Wilson completely destroyed the rookie stats for a first season. With one of the leagues best recievers, Harvin, in the stable it will be damn near impossible to stop Wilson and our corps of receivers this year.

Looking at the 2013 Seahawks on paper I honestly will be surprised if we don't go undefeated thruout the entire season and playoffs including the Super Bowl.

I know that sounds rediculous from any other fans standpoint but the team that steamrolled every team in the last half of the 2012 season got significantly better in the off season. Call me crazy but I stand firm in my prediction. Watch out NFL. The Seahawks are for real and they are looking to kick the asses of any team that gets in thier way to a record breaking season and the winning of the Lombardi Trophy.

Go Hawks!

BTW, the game changed a lot. Elway was 7 TDs / 14 INTs / 47.5 percent his rookie year. Nowadays, even the worst QBs don't throw for those types of numbers.

Down by a total of 28 pts in the second half Wilson put the team on his back AGAIN and came from 4 TDs behind to take the lead with 26 seconds left whicg of course Atlanta made unbelieveably good use of. And a there was that stupid "icing" TO by Carroll. Anyone watching the game would have to admit that when Wilson took over in the second half he steamrolled Atlanta.

With apologies to the Tebow people for highjacking this thread(Wilson IS a lot more interesting than Tebow ever was or will be) I am all in with my team. This is our time and laughing is for fools. I won't be laughing back at you fools but there will be a big grin on my face as the season progresses. Enjoy!

So they lost and didn't steamroll Atlanta, they even had to make a comeback.

I don't hate the Seahwawks. I'm laughing at your idolizing them and pretending they are greater than they are.

If, by THAT, you are suggesting that some other city or region deserves the Seahawks more than Seattle I will accept your envy....
