What kind of person doesnt benefit from real leadership?

If I was in a military squad or in some unfree social unit then leadership is really good but in a free society leadership is the people and the politicians are the tools to implement what the people have already decided for themselves.

Think of Michael Moore or Rush Limbaugh. They are both political leaders that move people in one direction or the other. They then pick politicians who do what the people have already decided between themselves.
