That Romney opposes abortion in cases of rape or incest might be the latest democrat talking point. It isn't true.

Romney claims to be 'outraged' that Obama is saying Romney is against abortion even if rape or incest is involved. However, as the video proves, Romney HAS stated that he is in favor of overturning Roe v Wade, would sign it if it crossed his desk, and he does in fact feel that a pregnancy should never be terminated, regardless.

This is a HUGE part of why I will not be voting for the man. Not just that that is his stance, but that he called Obama a liar for speaking the truth.

That is a conflation of finding fault with and/or wanting to overturn Roe and wanting no abortion for rape or incest.

It is a logical fallacy.

It is also false dilemma, also a logical fallacy.

It's a logic thing.

Some rapes and incest cases result in pregnancy.

If your position is that no pregnancy will be terminated, then your position is to force victims of rape and incest to give birth to children.

In any case..women have a right to have an abortion. Romney wants to recind that.

Finding fault with Roe does not equate to taking the right of abortion away.

Thus, you have zero point.

If a woman wants to have an abortion let her have one. Pretty simple.

First trimester, no problem, I agree. Second trimester, is tricky! Say leave that to the states. Then States have the choice of legalizing/banning or setting preconditions if they want. Third trimster, I say ban abortion except in the cases where the mother's life is in danger, the baby has birth defects or the mother is a child herself under a certain age.

Father's consent? Sorry but that can't be considered! Maybe husband's consent, but I don't like that slippery slope either!

AZ does not ban abortions for rape and incest victims.

While the baby is actually in the process of being born is the gray area for her. Right up until labor it's still a fetus and it would be wrong to tell the woman she can't abort it. If I understand Noomi's position correctly.
