Most recently, Alvado returned to Cuba, from early October to early November, to further explore this tiny culture.
The religion is now quietly growing in Cuba, where there are as many as 9,000 Muslims. While they represent a tiny segment of Cuba’s 11.3 million population, it’s a significant increase from roughly a dozen in the early 1990s.

muslims are VERY ACTIVELY proselytizing in all of south America. My Spanish is dismal but good enough to have made out the presence of Islamic propaganda
in EL DIARIO----which is the most prominent Spanish language newspaper
in the USA. My informants---people FROM South America, including, lately---physicians from Cuba country have so informed me. Mexico is especially a recruiting ground. I wonder if the jerk Prince Talal has come out with a Spanish
translation of the koran-------anyone????
