A new law in Albany, New York, requiring all school children, public and private, to be vaccinated by July in order to continue their education is causing confusion and panic. Parents in the Deer Park area have received a letter from Assistant Superintendent James Cummings explaining that "In the event that you do not follow this mandate we will be reaching out to Child Protective Services to alert them of your non-compliance."

I find it unacceptable that anyone be forced to be vaccinated.

However it's equally unacceptable to expose others to disease through that refusal.

So the solution is simple.

Camps with schools. Where nobody is vaccinated. The vaccinated go to regular schools; the un-vaccinated attend the camp schools where they can infect only those whose parents wish them to be infected.

The camps would have to be large at first but it wouldn't all that long before they could be downsized.

The only "neglect" here would potentially be neglecting their schooling, since if they're not vaccinated they can't attend, but that doesn't happen 'til September and a parent has the right to make medical decisions for their children.
