I doubt that the Miami Herald article is reflective of the Department at-large, but it does, indeed, appear, that she has at least some support within it.

I never said nor implied anything about her being fired.

Although that sounds like a darned-fine idea, now that you mention it.

To say nothing of the whole thing was made to honor Columbus. You know, that pirate who showed up one day and started laying waste to everyone he met.

I didnt see anyone forcing her to. BUt she is not just some Jane Schmoe. She's a public officer. It is disgraceful and she was rightly reprimanded.

There are no such congressmen because it's the US Congress which is different organ of government and represents other branch of power. I don't understand why you compare policemen with congressmen.

That Police chief has a masters Degree and the punk cop Union rep is a well known "aperture" and also an "orifice"..


She is a 32-year veteran with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice and a master’s degree in national security affairs. She has worked in the chief’s office, patrol and in field operations. She was the Overtown Neighborhood Enhancement Team commander.
