According to The Post, Mueller wants to testify privately about topics that aren't laid out in the lightly redacted special counsel's report. Democrats hope to get Mueller to say whether President Donald Trump would face charges of obstruction of justice if he were not president. They also want Mueller to discuss his interactions with Attorney General William Barr regarding the investigation, as well as the release of the report.... CNN reports Special counsel's team hesitant about Mueller testifying publicly, part of hold up securing testimony - CNNPolitics that Mueller is reluctant to testify publicly about the Russia investigation for fear of being seen as too political. The Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...ational&wpmk=1) is reporting that Mueller and Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee have been unable to agree how much of the testimony would be done in public.
House Democrats have said they will subpoena Mueller to testify if necessary.... Some Republicans have also called on Mueller to appear publicly. On April 8, Georgia Rep. Doug Collins, the top Republican(Top House Republican Wants Robert Mueller To Testify ‘Immediately’ | The Daily Caller) on the House Judiciary panel, called on Mueller to testify "immediately."

Sounds like pseudo-legal sophistry for the leftist media and Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA Democrat talking points. Did they ever ask such a question about Bill Clinton? Be wary of political statements containing the word "if."
Doug Collins: "We've asked since April about Mr. Mueller coming. But every time we seem to get close to Mueller, Mueller just gets pushed on a little bit. Haven't seen a subpoena here, and this is what's really amazing -- we'll get back to subpoenas in a moment -- but just think about that. You wanted the work of the author, but you don't want to talk to the author."
Mueller would be a fool to testify before these hate-driven, jackals! This is a minefield, a no-win trick bag, for Mueller, and his reputation.
In hours of opinion questions from these partisan clowns, Mueller's chances of contradicting his Own official Report are enormous. The Opportunity for accidentally disclosing secret Grand Jury material, and/or Classified information is also high. (Those 2 acts are Federal Felonies, Not requiring intent). Lastly, Mueller has No friends in The House--both sides would demean, corner and use him for partisan gain.
This all an effort to smokescreen the PMS/DSA Democrat base into thinking their congressional leaders are actually getting something accomplished. They're going to keep this up for months. I hope the American public sees the waste of time and taxpayer dollars going in to pay the bloated salaries of these elected fools.
