Inside Trump’s Money-Losing Scottish Golf Paradise

According to corporate filings in the U.K., Turnberry lost $36.1 million in 2016 (the most recent figure available) on revenue of just $12 million. The operation’s debt load nearly doubled between 2015 and 2016, according to the filings. Turnberry has also been the subject of congressional hearingsthat included testimony speculating about how Trump arranged financing to buy that course and fund his others in Scotland and Ireland. Eric Trump, the president’s son, has been quoted as saying that some of his family’s funding for its golf business came from Russia

Investigators working for Robert Mueller, the special counsel who’s looking at possible links between Trump’s campaign and Russian meddling in the 2016 election, are reportedly examining whether Trump associates laundered financial payoffs from Russian officials by channeling them through offshore accounts.

Where Did Donald Trump Get Two Hundred Million Dollars to Buy His Money-Losing Scottish Golf Club?

Although we cannot say that Trump himself knowingly engaged in money laundering, we do know with certainty that much of his business in the past decade was in the industries most known for money laundering, in the locations most conducive to money laundering, and with people who bear the key hallmarks of money launderers.

We wouldn't even have looked at these golf courses without the president making a big deal while visiting in Europe. Have you seen them?

Look at that. Hundreds of millions of dollars spent on golf courses out in the middle of nowhere. And he did it all in cash. A guy who went bankrupt a half dozen times paying hundreds of millions in cash.

Sumpmmm stinks to high heaven.

Maybe Trump has a rich uncle. Ever think of that?

It's becoming more and more obvious that Trump stinks at running businesses.
He inherited FAR more money than he claims. And the only successes he has had are those where the 'force' of his personality can con, bully, sell, dupe, charm (stupid/emotionally disturbed people only) his way to success.
His list of failed companies and having to declare many of his corporations bankrupt is FAR longer than the number of companies that have succeeded WITHOUT innovative financing/favors/cons/etc..
Basically, he is a con man who started out with lots of money and connections (through his father).

If you look up to him, you have got to be either stupid and/or emotionally disturbed.

That's it? That's your big, fact-filled, intelligent comeback? Making a ridiculous, hate-filled statement that you have zero chance of factually proving?

The more time I spend on this site, the more I am wondering if most Trumpbots even graduated high school.

Getting an intelligent, fact-based, well thought out answer from you people seems virtually impossible here.

Who axed you, Captain Knowledge?

You have nothing. So all you do is post some silly picture with an even sillier title.

You Trumpbots (on this site anyway) clearly are just not capable of intelligent, rational discussion. All you know is being gullible, ignorant and hate-filled.

Awwwwww! Is da widdle baby pissed over Trump's success? Suck it up, Princess.

Not every business venture is going to be a success but on the whole it would seem Trump has had more success than failure. The fact this golf course is losing money is not a crime just like the fact Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh ran up some debt buying Washington Nationals baseball tickes does not make him unqualified to sit on the Supreme Court.

And we just have to keep wondering why these threads just keep on coming.

They all revolve around the same theme.

deanrd has to find some way to console himself so he can sleep at night.

After all:

He lost the WH.

He didn't get the senate:

He didn't get the house:

He didn't get Merrick Garland

He did get Niel Gorsuch

He's going to get Brett Kavenaugh

And in November, all his wet dreams will get washed down the democratic toilet as the American people once again tell him and his type they are tired of the same old shit. The blue wave is going to become the blue low tide.

Then Ruth kicks it and deanrd is totally fucked.

Its gonna be so funny to watch the leftists heads explode when President Trump either pardons himself OR the SC rules a sitting US president can't be indicted...LMAO

Possibly because Trump never went bankrupt.

Donald Trump's Scottish Golf Courses Are Losing a Ton of Money

Earlier this year, golf writer James Dodson, a co-author of books with Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan and others, had claimed Eric Trump told him during a round in 2013: “We have pretty much all the money we need from investors in Russia…We’ve got some guys that really, really love golf, and they’re really invested in our programs.”

Trump Jr. subsequently dismissed the claim as “fake news,” forcing Dodson to respond: “I stand by what I said.”

Russia is just throwing money at Trump. How much do you think they gave him altogether? A billion? Two? More?

Does anyone really think Mueller won't get to the bottom of this?
