It is official now: the Left's hopes of impeaching President Trump have evaporated now that even Robert Mueller cannot find a single thing Trump did to pin a crime to! You will remember that the Russia investigation began about a year ago with concerns that Russia had been meddling in the election where Hillary lost and Trump won, so while the focus of the investigation remains whether anyone connected with the Trump Campaign worked with Russia (but oddly, not whether anyone in Hillary's Campaign worked with them---- she was, after all the person expected and slated to win), while this leaves Trump's Campaign and him still the subject / focus / topic of the investigation, Mueller has conceded to Trump's lawyers that Trump himself personally is not a target of the investigation.

Didn't copy it but read several reports that Rosenstein sent a memo to Mueller authorizing him to go outside the original letter of intent to seek out criminal charges beyond the so-called Russian affair.

But he is a Criminal "Subject" of his investigation! Only a hair away from Criminal "Target". Just the fact that Trump is the Criminal "Subject" of an FBI investigation should be enough to alarm normal people.

Sorry, wrong again, Chief, there is no such thing as a "Criminal Subject" of an investigation, don't be trying to make up words---- he is a subject, meaning, focus around which the investigation centers, since the point of the investigation WAS to ask whether his campaign had any ties to the Russian meddling! Whether that places him or anyone else "only a hair away" or a MILE away from becoming a criminal target is unknowable, anyone's guess, and after over a year's digging, if still admittedly no criminality has been found, should be grounds to exhale, not expect that in the eleventh hour some major new damning news should suddenly come out. And let's face it, the investigation was only triggered by the Left in their desperation to remove him from office, based on an FBI director who was already a speciously corrupt and biased individual whom had to go because he was actively working against the president, and what alarms me is that the Republicans folded as always and went along with it even as Sessions backed away from it and left his buddy Trump twisting in the wind.
