They certainly weren't black and they left behind a pictographic record of what they looked like. They did have black people living in Egypt, as slaves. Mostly very attractive black slaves. The Nubians who were a very attractive people. The royalty of Egypt was Greek ever since Alexander left his General Ptolemy as Pharoh and regent.

I would not presume to try to educate the average uneducated black person. They live in worlds of myth because they need it, not having anything else to recommend them.
