So the idiot/ignorant liberals talk endlessly all over UMB about how government spending (especially on infrastructure) "creates" jobs. Yet thanks to the GOP caving to them last year on raising the debt ceiling, there are now automatic spending cuts on defense. Those cuts ($500 billion) in addition to Obama's cuts in his budget ($487 billion) total nearly $1 trillion. That's $1 trillion that is going to severely impact the defense contractors in the private sector.

So to summarize, the idiot/ignorant liberals gets aroused by the the thought of endlessly building useless bridges by minimum wage workers, but they detest spending on high paying engineering jobs in the defense contractor field which ensures their freedom. Seriously, could these people get any dumber? If you love government spending, why not support the spending on defense which is not only a Constitutional responsibility of the federal government, but also ensures your security? :cuckoo:

Perhaps you could explain what that has to do with the issue at hand? If the implication is the bridge builders make slightly more than minimum wage - so? The spending on local roads and bridges is still not the Constitutional responsibility of the federal government, it still does not provide anything one billionth as useful as your freedom and security, and it still pays no where near what the engineering jobs for creating sophisticated weapons systems does. You guys always scream about "good paying" jobs but all you do is wreck the economy with pure stupidity.
