In the real world, blacks own apartment buildings and there are also black managers. They run by the same rules and laws all races must follow. Moving is a noisy process which is why it's done during the day, not at 11 PM. Tenants throughout the US have a right called "quiet enjoyment." <---click on link to read legal definition. It doesn't matter on the race nor does this have to be spelled out in in a contract or lease. This is universal throughout the US. (state laws many vary slightly) Any tenant has the legal right to complain to the owner/manager and or call the police on someone moving in at 11 PM, thus disturbing the peace. Race has NOTHING to do with this.

I have managed apartment buildings in my lifetime. I know landord and tenant act provisions and fair housing law. I live in the real world. Racism does exist in that real world. Since you have no real experience dealing with it, then you can't say race didn't have anything do with it. I don't believe everything is racism so drop your extremist belief that I do just because I point out that whites are still practicing racism. You can use that link claiming quiet enjoyment as an excuse all you want, but would that have happened had the person not been black? I grew up and went to Catholic school with a fellow who was raised in a very religious, very correct home where intolerant attitudes like racism would not be tolerated. It was no surprise when he became an altar boy and routinely served Sunday mass at St. Francis. But it was a surprise when he became a cop after the Navy because we all expected him to become a priest or something similarly pious and proper.

We had moved and I lost touch with Richard for several years. When I got married and moved closer to him we started getting together again I was really surprised to find he'd become a rabid anti-Black racist, which was a total departure from what I recalled as his essential nature. I did mention this to him and he unapologetically told me the change in his disposition was owing to assignment to a precinct in Bedford/Stuyvestant, which was Brooklyn's Black ghetto.

Over the years I met several cops who worked in the same precinct, every one of whom harbored an intense level of antipathy for young Black males.
