Goddamn, that's some bad luck, I was hoping to hear this is really rare. I think it's about the worst possible ending. Some guys live a long time with it, I think the former New Orleans Saint is still alive with it, probably 10 years, maybe more.

thats my response if I'm ever diagnosed with cancer.

I've seen how it affected my grand parents, my parents, and 2 brother in laws.

Not putting my wife thru it.

My paternal grandfather died of it back in the early 1980s.

How awful. I think dementia can be just as bad. I have a neighbor a couple of lots away who is now under 24 hour care for dementia. He needs a hoist to get him in and out of bed.
