That's an easy connection to make for anyone who has read many parts of the Babylonian Talmud and what the Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox tell their children about 'goyim' and Christians, and the fake horror stories over 2,000 years.

As for mass genocides, they certainly committed their share of them against Christians, and probably 20% of them would do so in a heartbeat. They were the garrison troops and administrators for the Muslim invaders of Spain and North Africa, and probably India as well.
