Are you black? If not, then the logical conclusion would be that you're white if you're a full-blood, since most Cubans are directly descended from Mediterranean whites (Spaniards) due to the lack of indigenous settlement on the island.

I saw a lot of different skin tones when I was in Cuba for a few weeks on holiday. There were people who were very dark skinned, some lighter skinned, some a bit Anglo looking. One thing I did notice was that there seemed to me to be very little problem between folks, regardless of skin colour. My wife speaks fluent Spanish and is far more able than me to understand the context but she has been to Cuba many times on holiday (before we met) and it seems that racial tensions in Cuba are negligible.
It's an interesting country and I must admit until I read a bit about it I never realised the complexity of its history.

I am inclined to regard skin tone variations among Cubans as the primary product of white-black interbreeding and the creation of mulattoes of various shades rather than white-Indian interbreeding and the creation of mestizos of various shades, again considering the issue of a lack of indigenous settlement on that island. Perhaps most Cubans wouldn't be considered "white" if we were merely considering Anglos, but they would resemble the darker-skinned Mediterranean whites of Spain and Italy.
The lack of racial tension in Cuba is probably related to focus on a more progressive mindset generated by the Revolution and the increased egalitarianism that is its product...if some degree of excessive authoritarianism was also present in that package.
