It remains to be seen but since the AMI payment was a violation of campaign finance laws, if Bragg can show in court that Trump was aware of that and knew it was for his campaign, that could qualify as an underlying offense to support the felony charge of NY § 175.10.

Agreed. But the paper trail is much easier with the Daniels case because the money laundering was actually completed and traceable (via a complete paper trail) from start to finish.
