...it's not Republicans that are refusing to debate on a network like CNN or NBC, which only airs views agreeing with the Democrat party.

Guess which party is refusing... thus continuing a long trend?

Yep, it's the Democrat candidates, who consistently refuse to come to a debate on Fox News - the only network which consistently airs BOTH sides' views in a debate and lets them argue it out on the air.

The Democrats just can't stand the opposition getting ANY air time.

When Fox News tried to set up a Democratic presidential debate with the Congressional Black Caucus, it watched its effort crumble after bloggers and liberal groups complained that Democrats should not appear on a network that, they said, had a history of belittling Democrats and promoting Republicans on its airwaves.

Three Democrats announced they would not participate: Hillary Rodham Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama.

On Tuesday night, Republicans in South Carolina participated in a feisty debate sponsored by Fox News that even Democrats said was anything but a free ride for their opponents: The Fox questioners hammered the Republicans on issues ranging from abortion to government spending to the war on terror.

Given that, one of the Republican presidential contenders, Rudolph W. Giuliani, called on Democrats to reconsider their refusal. “The Democrats should debate on Fox,” Mr. Giuliani said in an interview. “I think they would get a good chance to explain themselves. If the Republicans candidates are willing to debate on MSNBC and CNN, the Democrats should be willing to debate on Fox. I don’t think they’d want us to look like the bolder group of candidates.”

Fox isn't really a "news" station. They are an "opinion" station. Which is why the sued the government for the right to lie. It's why they aren't allowed to be broadcast in Canada. Up there, they don't allow stations that lie on purpose. I thought everybody knew that?

Bernard Goldberg a 20+ year employee at CBS wrote a book titled "Bias" about liberal bias in the media. Goldberg is not a conservative either.

Also, if the media is so balanced as you bleat, why is it that when under George W. Bush when we had 5.0 % unemployment, the media infinitely went on about how unacceptable it was in spite of the fact that it was lower unemployment than during the 90's, 80's and 70's......yet not a peep out of the media even with the current 7.4% unemployment. Or how about the media shredding Bush over gas being $1.83 as his presidency was ending. Not a peep from the media over today's gas prices....maybe we just need a Republican in the White House for the media to cry about these current rates.

Then there was the media lying about Romney bullying a gay kid in school. There are infinite examples of how the media is far to the left.

If we had a fair and balanced media, Rush Limbaugh, FOX, Hannity and others never would have made it.

That's a pretty good example of what democrats can expect if they debate on Fox.

We all saw an example of what happens when Republicans debate on the other media, they get to see a nazi like Candy Crowley do everything in her power to save Obama in a debate.

If the Republican Party was smart, they'd say that in 2016 one presidential debate will be hosted by FOX News, or there will be no debates at all. And for the FOX debate, Mark Levin will be the moderator. It would be great to see Democrats have to deal with bias for once.
