Major political party refuses to debate on network that airs the other side's views

I have a simple solution to this you have five networks ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, AND FOX air one debate on each network.

Better one let the League of Woman voters moderate it again. the last mod at the POTUS debate was a joke and was such a partisan hack.

Let's see.... four debates on leftist networks, and one on the network that airs both sides' views.

Yep, sounds balanced to me.

:cuckoo:

Here's an alternate suggestion: There should be the same number of debates on networks that air the conservative side, as there are on networks that air the leftist side only. (We'll let it slide that the only network that airs the conservative side airs the leftist side too, so leftists are getting a major break here).

So, let's see:

The last 40 or so debates have been on networks that air only the leftist point of view.

So, let's schedule the next 40 Presidential debates on the network that airs the conservative (and leftist) points of view.

After those 40, then we can alternate them: One on a leftist network, one on the conserv/leftist, one on the leftist, one on the conserv/leftist, etc. etc. If we have, say, four post-primary debates each Presidential election, that means this alternation will probably start around year 2052.

Now that's balanced. Equal respresentation for each kind of network.

Sound good?

I only consider NBC to be truly left wing I don't think CNN goes any farther left than FOX does right ABC and CBS fall somewhere in between CNN and NBC.

Its all about Network Overreach. The Networks let it be known in no uncertain way they were going to run interference for the GOP's Democratic opposition 24/7/365, openly, and unabashedly in their face, and they were going to demand that the GOP come onto its stage and just try to plead their case and don't dare try to do a dang thing about it. SUCKAHH!!!!

The Liberal networks, now undeniable extensions of the utterly and completely lawless Obama Administration, felt they could do about anything they wanted with impunity under Comrade Obama's wing.

Just remember the lesson from Nuremburg, all you fellahs over at CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, and mediamatters, the WaPo, the AP, and the NYT, too. This fella, some moldy old guy named Julius Streicher, from a period of other equally moldy and old guys, the editor and publisher of a nondescript newspaper called 'Der Sturmer' told the judges he was but a simple, lowly wordsmith and that he never once put pistol to the head of a helpless Jewish prisoner, nor did he ever empty the contents of a cannister of Zyklon B into a roomful of naked, frightened Jewish prisoners below, therefore he just could not be guilty of the crimes he was charged with. The judges ignored his pleas and ordered him hung anyway.

Who can possibly forget the block that 'Big Rock Candy Mountain' surnamed Crowley threw on Mitt Romney during the second Presidential debate when there was absolutely nothing in front of Mitt Romney except open field and touchdown against Barack Obama.

Any actual argument with the facts, or just stupid talking points and insults?

NBC is balanced? CBS is balanced? I don;t know about ABC, but the other two have taken only reporting the good side of Democrats to a new high point.

Remember Dan Rather? How about all the people on NBC?

You claim they are balanced provide us links to programs where either NBC or CBS aired a program favorable to Republicans. Link for us to their commentators that are Republican.

The LSM are balanced- but to do it the the cowards have to present your bs with a straight face, never explain any policy factually, and give up journalism (explaining the truth). A disgrace, kowtowing to loudmouth hater dupes.

All pub-Dem debates should be on the major networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox ENTERTAINMENT.. They all get 8-10x as many viewers as Fox Noise, a RW BS disgrace, like RushSavage Beckbart, Heritage, Murdoch/Moonie Rags, and the 100+ other lockstep websites etc that parrot the same crappe within minutes....for angry white hater dupes only.

Fox is a member in great standing of the bs propaganda machine, and you're a functional moron. Change the channel- hoping for your recovery. See sig, and finally get some truth. Ay caramba.

SEE BS (CBS) Dan Rather used forged documents to try and sway and election against what you call Pubs. FACT!

It must be difficult for the Democrats to acknowledge the fact that they are the ones with the long record of refusing to debate on a network that doesn't 100% support their agenda, while Republicans have participated in debates with such networks every year.

Sorry, Demmies, you made your bed. Now you can lie in it.

You lie everywhere else, after all.

You can be sure they're going to wet it.

My sig is full of inconvenient facts you never hear, Pub dupes. Not bs talking points. And I insult your politics and alternate Pub universe. See sig last line. Hoping for your recovery.

Lucky for me my app doesn't allow me to see propaganda sigs.

Your posts have no content and no facts but you hurl insults dupe.

The only thing that isn't common knowledge about this development is....

...it's not Republicans that are refusing to debate on a network like CNN or NBC, which only airs views agreeing with the Democrat party.

Guess which party is refusing... thus continuing a long trend?

Yep, it's the Democrat candidates, who consistently refuse to come to a debate on Fox News - the only network which consistently airs BOTH sides' views in a debate and lets them argue it out on the air.

The Democrats just can't stand the opposition getting ANY air time.

The New York Times reports on this appalling behavior.

Giuliani Calls on Democrats to Debate on Fox

By ADAM NAGOURNEY
May 16, 2007, 3:41 pm

When Fox News tried to set up a Democratic presidential debate with the Congressional Black Caucus, it watched its effort crumble after bloggers and liberal groups complained that Democrats should not appear on a network that, they said, had a history of belittling Democrats and promoting Republicans on its airwaves.

Three Democrats announced they would not participate: Hillary Rodham Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama.

On Tuesday night, Republicans in South Carolina participated in a feisty debate sponsored by Fox News that even Democrats said was anything but a free ride for their opponents: The Fox questioners hammered the Republicans on issues ranging from abortion to government spending to the war on terror.

Given that, one of the Republican presidential contenders, Rudolph W. Giuliani, called on Democrats to reconsider their refusal. “The Democrats should debate on Fox,” Mr. Giuliani said in an interview. “I think they would get a good chance to explain themselves. If the Republicans candidates are willing to debate on MSNBC and CNN, the Democrats should be willing to debate on Fox. I don’t think they’d want us to look like the bolder group of candidates.”

Good, they should give those opening to alternative political candidates like Libertarians , etc.
