Looks like Patrick McHenry overstepped his bounds.

He doesn't have the power to rearrange the lunch menu, much less the office assignments.

Gotta keep a close on on the little fucker and make sure he doesn't try to push anything else through.

But...But...But...

:boo_hoo14:

Trump wants Pelosi's office!!!

:boo_hoo14:

The ability of you RWI's to not read and learn anything is astounding.
She owns a home In CA, she was NOT elected, she was Appointed.
There is a difference.
She simply has to register in CA before being sworn in.

Just Like Tubberville had to move to AL (from FL) to run in AL.

A simple read of the LAW would clarify this for you simps.

But then they'd have nothing to be outraged about. It's all about keeping Republicans half crazy with rage, and then point them at your favourite targets.

"Speaker pro tempore" Appointed.

;)

Of whose power and actions are limited, according to their rules....And whether he was voted on by Congress to be speaker pro tempore or appointed to the position by the speaker etc....

I am not certain, but I believe he was appointed and not voted on by the full congress....

He has more power if he has or had, a full vote by Congress is what the rules state.....

OK. Not sure what the Guide is. I cited the actual rule It clearly states that in the event of a vacancy of the Speaker, the pro tempore "may exercise such authorities of the Office of Speaker as may be necessary and appropriate to that end."

Pelosi need to just stop her white privilege whining.
He's an appointed/assigned speaker pro tempore, not an elected one by congress from what I understand, which limits his power greatly....

Necessary things are things like bringing up bills and votes, not office moves, from what it says and describes as necessary....

Edit:

...functions that are within the scope of authority of a Speaker pro
tempore are calling the House to order, making various announcements,
answering parliamentary inquiries, putting the question, counting for
a quorum, ruling on points of order, and designating another Speaker
pro tempore. Deschler Ch 6 Sec. Sec. 9, 10. When the Office of Speaker
is vacant, the Member acting as Speaker pro tempore under rule I
section 8(b) may exercise such authorities of the Office as may be
necessary and appropriate pending the election of a Speaker or Speaker
pro tempore.
The authority of a Speaker pro tempore to exercise certain powers
depends on whether he is designated, designated and approved, or
elected. The powers of a designated Speaker pro tempore, compared with
those of an elected Speaker pro tempore, are relatively limited.

Deschler Ch 6 Sec. Sec. 10, 14.
