She should have to return all the fraudulently obtained money. At the very least.
Can't imagine anyone would take it back, to tell you the truth. I know KFC isn't going to, 'cause they're going to end up getting a lot more positive publicity out of this than the money they gave her would have bought.
After all, they reacted to the accusation quickly and in exactly the way such a company should have done. Now, if they say, "No, whatever else happened, our hearts still go out to this little girl and her ordeal, and we're glad that we had the chance to do something to help her", their reputation is GOLDEN.
