Limbaugh: Don’t tell ‘people on welfare when the election is’

CON$ don't believe in "fairness" they say it is a Marxist word. The code words they use for raising taxes on the working poor while denying they are raising taxes on anyone are "BROADENING THE BASE." "Broadening the base" means raising taxes on those who are too poor to pay income taxes.

wow, that was some bull
If CON$ say it is bull, you know it is true.
Thank you.
Broadening the base means eliminating tax deductions so that MORE people pay taxes. If MORE people are paying taxes then people who weren't paying income taxes are now paying taxes and therefore those people had their taxes RAISED. The GOP wants to cut taxes on millionaires and then make up the difference by raising taxes on the poor, AKA broadening the base.

Because people having unequal treatment is a good thing

It was wrong to have people exempted from income taxation to begin with... it was wrong to have differences in tax rates in the income tax code to begin with... just as it was wrong to have loopholes the 'evil rich' could take advantage of to begin with

But you only want to have it fixed so that your 'evil rich' have things closed up and have advantages taken away... all the while you revel in the subjective unequal benefit you receive while chanting 'fair share'

I know more wealthy people that claim to be conservatives that do not vote than liberals.
"I do not want to be bothered with jury duty".
Voting is a civic duty and there is no distinction between the moocher class and the wealthy, conservative or liberal when it comes to not practicing one's civic duties.

I have had jury duty three times and did not really want it that many times but I feel it is everyone's job to support our justice system.

Their seems to be a smaller and small pool of people to do jury duty because so many people cannot qualify because of criminal records or other reasons but it is one of our most inportand jobs in a free society based on laws.

Limbaugh: Don’t tell ‘people on welfare when the election is’ | The Raw Story

Rush Limbaugh is calling on his listeners to keep the election date a secret from the poorest Americans.

“Ninety-nine days, folks,” the conservative radio host announced on Monday. “Ninety-nine days before the election. If you are a welfare recipient, that’s just a little more than three checks.”

“Maybe we shouldn’t remind people,” he added after thinking about it. “We shouldn’t remind people on welfare when the election is. That may not be something we want to actually do.”

Earlier this month, Limbaugh suggested that President Barack Obama was plotting to win reelection with new rules that allow states to apply for waivers to work requirements under the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program.

The president doesn’t “want people off of welfare in this regime” because “those are voters that are getting away,” Limbaugh said.

This isn't surprising.

Republicans don't want the poor to vote. Many of them would be happy if property requirements were returned to voting.

Lol ! If there are people out there that get this easily confused about when it's time to vote, then indeed it would be best if they simply stayed home.

Seriously, Mac is right, how the hell could there be a serious attempt to hide the date ?
There are so many campaign ads running and non-stop discussion about the upcoming election, that it's laughable to think the date could be hidden away from a particular group.

See? Republicans think that its best when LESS people vote.
They are AGAINST universal suffrage. This much is abundantly clear.

And you idiots wonder why your supposed efforts to stop voter fraud are perceived as thinly veiled efforts to suppress the vote.

Does anyone still listen to this dope addict that seems to control the republican tea twits?

Republican fascists are the party that creates the poor so it's obvious they would not want the poor to vote and continue to try and disenfranchise the poor and minorities.

We need a strong turnout by the poor and minority group to send a big message to the racist republicans we are wise to their anti American agenda.

They fucking hate it because it means that people who ordinarily have NO POWER - i.e. the POOR - actually get a say in government. They don't want that! They would prefer a system where the only basis of power is money, where the poor literally have no say whatsoever in how government is run. We know this because they advocate - Rush and Stephanie in this case - that the poor do not vote.

Limbaugh is a politician? I did not see that coming.

The OP is an idiot...and Limbaugh works in the media. Take a wild guess which forum would be the appropriate one?

Are Rush listeners under some sort of obligation to get losers to the election booths?

No?

Then he's fucking hilarious!

Silly, nitroz is a progressive extremist loon, just like you.

Welfare workers, by federal mandate, must offer each and every welfare applicant voter registration materials. They offer them to them, and if the applicant can't write, the worker fills the forms out for them, and mails the completed voter registration forms to county elections (or deliver them there). They must have voter registration posters and materials in the lobby, and at individual desks. They have to narrate that they offer said materials to clients, and if the client declines to register, they have to get a signed declination and file it in a file in the office that stays for 2 years.

Just so you know. They aren't disenfranchised when they don't vote. They're just stupid, or felons, or illegals.

Actually there would be fewer CON$ervoFascists eligible to vote because Libs are more financially successful and CON$ only pretend to be achievers. Republicans are the Party of vote for me and you can fantasize that you are successful without having to put out any effort.
