President Barack Obama holds a single-digit lead in Wisconsin after Mitt Romney selected Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate, according to a new CNN/ORC International survey.
Romney's selection of the seven-term congressman from Wisconsin helps turn the battleground state from "lean Obama" to true "toss-up" on CNN's electoral map.
In the survey, conducted after Ryan's selection, 49% of registered voters in Wisconsin said they back Obama, with 45% supporting Romney. The margin is within the survey's sampling error.
