Liberals lose in soccer dream

In a dream from this morning, I am watching a soccer game that is tied in the last few minutes of play. A player on one team is injured and taken out but the team only has non-players as replacements. They send out liberal actor and director Rob Reiner who is quickly injured and removed from the field. They send in another actor/director who meets the same fate. The other team scores and wins.

The dream may suggest that the liberal elites, represented by Reiner, are not equipped to deal with the rough and tumble of real life and are losing. Given that soccer is an international sport, the dream may also mean that liberal values are being defeated in the world arena.

I fear that the future of socialism hangs by a thread. Until the big corporations need bailing out of course/

The future of "socialism" will surely be as awful as its past has been. No country on earth has successfully implemented socialism because it flouts major aspects of human psychology. People will not strive for excellence if dullards and laggards are rewarded the same as those who excel.

The countries that our "socialists" point to (Scandanavia, etc) have a backbone of good old-fashioned capitalism, which is figuratively "bled" to fund the safety net, but the introduction of worthless charges from the third world and the Muslim shit-holes will sorely try that philosophy - look at France.

As for wimmins' soccer (football, if you must), no country on earth takes it seriously, including the U.S., and the world championship is akin to winning the country club golf championship...nobody really cares.

Capitalism fails too often to succeed without socialist bailouts.
