It is your opinion that women can act in support roles, as they have for years, which take them into war zones where they are subjected to IED's and gunfire same as everyone else, but that experience cannot advance them into a senior position because they can't lift 152 pounds? How retarded, actually, is that?

No...it is that they don't get to experience actual combat......something someone in the military would find important as experience since they are trying to be leaders of an organization that is supposed to fight wars.....

Well, you've got it all sewn up, don't you, to ensure no soldier will have to take orders from a woman? Which is the real problem.

No....they take orders from women all the time...the problem is women can't stand the physical stress of long term combat operations...

They are required to be the model the lower level soldiers follow and look up to....to the point they will enter engage the enemy under heavy fire because the officer tells them they have to do it....

The gender of the soldiers shouldn't really matter.

But in the real world it does.....physically, men and women are different....you should have paid more attention in biology class....

officers already meet lots of higher standards, but there is no reason they need to be the biggest or the strongest

This whole argument is bullpoop!

Women serve in actual combat and are often just as good warriors as men. In fact, IS fighters are terrified of the Peshmerga women. IDF female soldiers have proven some of the fiercest fighters in the world.

In fact, having females in combat units has a very positive aspect. The men bust their butts to be just as good and even better than the women.

I have never had a problem serving with or under QUALIFIED women, enlisted and commissioned.
