Lehigh .380 defense round...is it any good, the videos seem to say, yes.

I have always liked a bigger chunk of lead. Not so long ago the .380 was considered inadequate. But, from what I have read and seen online, the newer .380 ammo is much better and that it is now a decent defensive round. Probably about the bottom end of what I would say was a defensive round.

But then, whatever you have at hand is better than nothing. I can think of a lot of times when, if I had been attacked, I would have had to defend myself with a Ruger 10/22. Hardly optimal.

I have and carry a Ruger LCP .380 sometimes in the summer when wearing shorts and tee shirt, but in all honestly I can't hit shit with it beyond 15ft. that 380 is just too small for me. So I really have minimum confidence with that .380 and since I can't hit anything with it, it doesn't matter much what kind of rounds are in it.

My regular carry weapons are 9 mm S&W shields and I can put 2 in a 8" circle drawing from any angle or position at 30ft easily pretty quickly.

That .380 is going to be a trade-in for the any future purchase.
